Everything that could go wrong with this guy went wrong. Everytime I tried showing him that I liked him, the opposite went across. Misunderstanding after misunderstanding. Guy eventually thought he was being played & started to be mean to me and harass. Now I loathe him. Turns out, he had a girlfriend the whole time. Could it be that God was intervening? Preventing me from getting hurt by a bad guy?

It just means you're a delusional idiot that couldn't take the hint that he wasn't into you until it blew up in your face. You probably made him feel uncomfortable when you came on to him, since he had a girl, and he probably didn't want to be rude, but you forced the issue. Grow up.
