Popeye's Chicken where I live used to advertise that they did it (usually just for Thanksgiving). You might also check with BBQ places or other meat markets/meat processing places in your community. It's possible that even if they don't do it, they will know who does & be able to direct you.

The deep fryers arent that expensive but I'd suggest seeing if some of your friends would want to go in on it and then all of you could use it when you get the urge to have something deep fried (this is great for frying up fish too)

the classic technique of cooking turkey for Thanksgiving dinner is Roasted not baked. Meats are roasted and cookies, muffins, and pies are baked. The somewhat new technique of deep frying an entire turkey is a nicely-enjoyed and fashionable technique and it truly is swifter and produces a fowl with crisp and engaging epidermis - yet could be risky and has led to quite a few abode fires. additionally, in case you love stuffing cooked interior the fowl, you may't try this interior the deep frying technique. i'm for oven roasted turkey with stuffing!

It depends on where you live. I know that in the Seattle area, Kau Kau, over in the International District had deep-fried turkeys last year.

Just buy a fryer. They are awesome. Just DO NOT use it indoors. That how houses in Arkanasas burn down.
