I'm not intending to be rude and criticise your beliefs (as you are mine and many other people's) but why do you think that evolution makes no logical sense? How does your theory of God creating the Earth make sense? Surely it's more feasible for species to evolve into what they are than for some great being from nowhere to magically create a whole fantastic world of plants and animals and everything else? If you think about it, the way technology is getting better and better is like evolution. Things evolve to get better. If your theory is the true one, then why didn't God create everything that we have today? Is he unable to do that? And how does the Bible "prove" anything? It's just a book written by somebody. I think you are quite small-minded the way you criticise evolution and you should open your mind a little more. I am willing to listen to your beliefs and will consider them - I don't just pass it off as stupid.

You need to check out the "facts" on both sides. You will find that most, if not all creationist claims are false, the link below is provided as a quick reference. If you are serious about learning then you will want to do more exhaustive research to verify these.

Logic is highly dependent on what premise you start from and if you start from a false premise the illogical sounds true, which is the case in creationism.

Basically you have three options: 1 continue to just accept what your pastors says at face value and be like the fool who opens his mouth and removes all doubt. 2. Accept that evolution is a proven scientific theory and that creation never happened or 3. Accept evoltion and still believe in creation.

No one ever said we evolved from monkeys and "the bible" cannot prove anything b/c it is not a credible source. It was written by MEN who had an agenda, they wanted to scare people into conforming to a certain set of beliefs/ they were simply writing down THEIR OWN beliefs. Not those of any supreme being, just their own. There is no way to prove the "truth" of the bible. Clearly you need to spend less time in church and more time in school if you honestly think evolution states that humans evolved from monkeys. Just wow.

The Bible proves nothing - it's just a book! Does "Harry Potter" prove there's magic?

If you're against evolution -
Get your monkey butt back in the tree!

Actually, apes (not monkeys) and humans share a mutual ancestor, but that's usually too complicated to explain to someone who accepts as fact the mythology of primitive desert nomads from thousands of years ago.

And before you get up on a high horse (so to speak) about humans and animals, remember that there is less than 2% difference between human DNA and that of a chimp.

The Bible is proves nothing! Christianity is mythology. Evolution is real - every credible scientist in the world accepts evolution as being true. A lack of understanding and education does not make evolution false nor the Bible true.

Your pastor is using a logical device which changes a subject by calling it names or insulting it. Effectively he doesn't have to deal with serious questions on the issue which he is most likely ill equipped to answer. These type of logical manuevers work best on the intellectually stunted--which puts the pastor in good hunting grounds lol.

Timothy we can believe in God without being 100% convinced that everything in the Bible as "God's Word".

Compromisers may doubt some stories like Noah's Arc, thinking that they were just Parables to illustrate a point.

I believe the FULL GOSPEL, although I can't defend every word! I believe. I have PEACE about trusting the WORD of God...peace that "passes understanding".

I agree with you Tim, the Bible is GOD's Word! It is trustworth, like Him!!!

God's Word says it, so I believe it, and that settles it.

But let's forgive Yahoos who disagree with us. Jesus said on the cross, "They know not".

i'm a Christian and that i've got faith in evolution of species. even however, i do no longer think that people developed from primates even pondering the similarities that i stumble on while interpreting the anatomy and behaviour characteristics that many scientists do. I even have faith interior the creation of Earth via a preferrred Being and that i even have faith in clever layout. hence, i've got faith that evolution exists, as technology tells us from carbon relationship, fossils, and gazing species now. additionally, evolution exists in timber and different plant life, so why no longer animals? I do share your annoyance while human beings have faith that people developed from pirmate species because of the fact, in spite of our similarities, the subject comes right down to faith. If a man or woman does no longer have a faith that encourages clever layout (no longer only Christianity) then they're very possibly to have faith the evolution of people comes from primates. think of to your self. Do you have faith that people continually appeared like they do presently interior the international? Do you have faith interior the historic Neanderthals and Cavemen? I do. those species practice evolution into the Homo sapien sapien species. I certainly have shown evolution to you in case you have faith in those historic species, yet I certainly have neither inspired the evolution of people from primates, nor have I denied creation via a preferrred Being, in our case, God. additionally, i do no longer think of you ought to use a Bible as a source because of the fact Atheists and Liberals could be skeptical approximately how honest it rather is. They see the Bible as an merchandise of religion, which it rather is, to Christianity. as a thank you to get throughout the time of a component to them, you ought to use different information and info. i wish this counsel helped you. If it nevertheless bothers you, I recommend you pray for some reassurance. I additionally applaud your bravery, as i will already inform you is definitely no longer so widely used for asking questions like this. God Bless

You have it right in your second sentence: "Evolution don't make no logical sense"
The use of a double negative logically becomes a positive and reads like this: "Evolution makes logical sense!"

Nice one.

But I'm beginning to believe some Christians DID evolve from monkeys... and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in their case.
