Nope, as long as you don't join that nation's military or get elected there. You could become a resident or whatever, because the US doesn't recognize the concept of dual citizenship.
The only way to lose your citizenship is to renounce it in front of a US consular office at a US Embassy in that country. Even if you do that, you cannot escape any criminal or civil issues that you have in the USA.

If you work in the new country without becoming a citizen of that country, and continue to file a US tax return on any salary earned while there, you should retain your US citizenship. If I were you, I would keep your US passport up to date too (don't let it expire). If you become a citizen of the new country, your US citizenship can be revoked.

You will become what is referred to as an ex patriot. Living abroad but still a citizen. If you denounce U.S. citizenship, take part in any terrorist activity against the U.S. or Israel, join another countries military, become a naturalized citizen of another country, then you will lose it.

No, unless you are naturalized (i.e., you apply to become a citizen of that country). As long as you do not participate in a foreign government (by voting, for example), you are sure to retain your U.S. citizenship.
