1. Jesus started one true Christian religion. So today there must be just one body, or group, of true worshipers of Jehovah God. (John 4:23, 24; Ephesians 4:4, 5) The Bible teaches that only a few people are on the narrow road to life.—Matthew 7:13, 14.
2. The Bible foretold that after the death of the apostles, wrong teachings and unchristian practices would slowly come into the Christian congregation. Men would draw away believers to follow them instead of Christ. (Matthew 7:15, 21-23; Acts 20:29, 30) That is why we see so many different religions that claim to be Christian. How can we identify true Christians?
3. The most outstanding mark of true Christians is that they have real love among themselves. (John 13:34, 35) They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. Neither are they taught to hate people from other countries. (Acts 10:34, 35) So they do not share in wars. True Christians treat one another as brothers and sisters.—1 John 4:20, 21.
4. Another mark of true religion is that its members have a deep respect for the Bible. They accept it as the Word of God and believe what it says. (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) They treat God’s Word as being more important than human ideas or customs. (Matthew 15:1-3, 7-9) They try to live by the Bible in their everyday life. So they do not preach one thing and then practice another.—Titus 1:15, 16.
5. The true religion must also honor God’s name. (Matthew 6:9) Jesus made God’s name, Jehovah, known to others. True Christians must do the same. (John 17:6, 26; Romans 10:13, 14) Who are the people in your community that tell others about God’s name?
6. True Christians must preach about God’s Kingdom. Jesus did so. He always talked about the Kingdom. (Luke 8:1) He commanded his disciples to preach this same message in all the earth. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20) True Christians believe that only God’s Kingdom will bring true peace and security to this earth.—Psalm 146:3-5.
7. Jesus’ disciples must be no part of this wicked world. (John 17:16) They do not get involved in the world’s political affairs and social controversies. They avoid the harmful conduct, practices, and attitudes that are common in the world. (James 1:27; 4:4) Can you identify a religious group in your community that has these marks of true Christianity?

All the world's great religions are in essence and reality fundamentally one. Religion is one, revealed progressively by universal educators that have included Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad, The Bab, and in this day, Baha'u'llah. The light is the same, though the lamp, the universal educator, is different. All the universal educators have taught that God is one, and humanity is one. We are to worship the light, not the lamp.

"By their fruits you will recognize them"
If God wanted a message to be spoken to all people, he would send his servants to them. -Acts 5:42; Acts 20:20
"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."- Matthew 24:14
"How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach? How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written: “How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things! Why, in fact, “into all the earth their sound went out, and to the extremities of the inhabited earth their utterances.” -Romans 10:13-15, 18
How many religions are "intensely occupied" with preaching God's Word publicly? (Acts 18:5) Most "Christian" persons sit in their church and let their paid preacher do all the work. Jehovah's Witnesses, young and old, male and female, preach from house to house, teaching people about the Bible. Overall, in 235 lands, they spend collectively over a billion hours each year preaching and teaching. They live according to the morals and principals found in the Bible and they are a united brotherhood that surpasses any racial, ethnic, or social barriers. -John 13:35

Every one on this earth belong to what they believe to be the ownly true Religion, or live their lives in a spiritual way, or choose to not to following anything or anybody. That is their right. Free Will
There is NOT one true religion. Every religion belives that they are the true religion. If you pick one religion out of the world religions and say THIS is the true religion, that is only your opinion and you are being judgemental towards all other religions.
Why not base your life on all that is good and fair, and see everybody for who they are, all children of "God".

The four marks of the true Church (religion) are One, Holy, Catholic (universal) and Apostolic. The Roman Catholic Church makes this claim. However, all those who follow their educated, honest and sincere conscience will find salvation through this Church only, even though they are not actual members as such.

All religions are both true and not true. Most religions started with the truth as taught by a master, son of God, prophet or enlightened being and then were added to through the years and the ages with the thoughts and imaginings of people who were not of the same consciousness as the original teacher. Simple misunderstandings have been built into traditions as meaningless as any human folly. Some have grown into monsters of hate and intolerance. Trust your own inner connection with all that is holy. Keep your eyes open and don't stand for ignorance and bigotry to flourish in your presence even when it is presented as God's will or in God's name. Any church, religion or individual who proclaims they are the sole keepers of the truth are deluded; the truth lives in everyone's heart.

Define "true..."
"true religion," is, to me, an oxymoron, to the extent that "religion" is a human constructed paradigm inwhich we try to place an infinite God. That its rather like trying to take all of the world's air and stuffing it in a shoe box.

The Catholic Church is the largest Church? yes, maybe so, but doesnt that disqualify it from being the true Church?
The Bible says only a SMALL remnant will be saved. Like the way is Broad and the Gate is narrow?
By your own post, you disqualify yourself and the Catholic church from being the "True Church".
The "True Church" is the members of the Body of Christ, not the members of a religious organization like the Catholics, or Jehovas Witnesses. Jesus is the head of the Church, and we the True believers are the Body.
Many Churches brag about themselves, this is not from God. True Followers give God the credit, and not their denomination, or how long there Church has been around.
