I have come across people with similar issues, and I have finally discovered why, scientifically, this happens to so many people:

It's those blasted crush-scaring gnomes. Yes, these are the same devious evil who are known as the "kitchen-dirtying gnomes", related to the "dirty laundry gnomes". Really the only thing you can do when he sees you is to laugh and smile real cute. But don't over-do it. Act like you don't mind him seeing. I've heard that lots of guys like a little clutzy or silliness. Makes a girl easier to be around.

It something called Sod's Law

Which states Anything that can go wrong will go wrong

Don't worry, you've just had bad luck... I'm sure you will be doing something cool, the next time. Don't try so hard to impress, It is when you are trying to act cool, that you are more likely to mess up, Be yourself, relax....... They might think you are cool even if you don't

You mean like spelling retarded "retartd"? I can't think of another reason (other than the obvious one).

that's the way of the game. for some reason, when we want to really impress someone (especially if they're a romantic interest), we always get caught doing the stupidest things or saying hte most ridiculous thing ever! aw. it's okay. happens to all of us.

You get nervous and when you get nervous your neurons get too excited and you can't think straight. Not a big thing, just means you're happy to see him and you're so happy, everything like... walking straight, speaking correctly, etc. goes out the door.
