In time it will get better. First of all you need an anti-depressant. Even if you are not depressed it will help with the pain and also you with a good mental attitude. Some days it is not about what I can't do it is about what I can do. Exercise is also a top key. Pain management programs are also great. Check out the web there are a lot of sites with great info and some great chat rooms. Support is important. Fibro is very difficult for others to understand. Try a close friend, or a support group. Fibro is a life time problem however it can be manageable it just takes time. Good Luck, and I will say a prayer for you....

Hi! I'm so sorry to hear of your condition! I have Fibromyalgia and know what you're talking about! After many years of trying to get on disability I was able to. There are a few things you need. 1). A doctor's diagnosis. 2). A daily journal of your pain and limitations may help. 3). You may need to get a lawyer.

The key thing is when you are denied to appeal that decision. (Everyone is denied the first couple of times). Appeal until you can take your case before a judge. Document everything possible!

I've found the most help from an experienced biofeedback technician. They can give you a custom designed medicine program especially vitamins/minerals/homeopathic/ etc.. Along with a helpful food diet. If you'd like a name of someone who's good email me.
Also watch out for food allergies. They can affect pain levels. Massage is also an important factor. And sleep is important.

I know what it's like! Don't give up!!

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when I was a teenager. That was over 10 years ago. Exercize is the key to keep the pain under control. I know at this point, it sounds hard, and it seems impossible. But if you take baby steps, you can eventually work up to it. Exercize is the best medicine for this disease. Start by walking around the house a little bit a few times a day. And then work your way up to walking down the street and back.
I also took muscle relaxers and went to physical therapy and this helped alot. There is so much more information out there now for this disease.
