Recently I drink alot but I'm still having dry mouth. I can even get really nervous and get a super dry mouth. I heard of a strip, drop or gum or something one time that was for dry mouth. Anyone got any suggestions for something I can get over the counter to help with it?

HELLO JESEKA,

THERE IS A COMPANY CALLED BIOTENE WHICH MAKES A WHOLE PRODUCT LINE FOR DRY MOUTH.
THESE ARE AVAILABLE AT MOST DRUG STORES OVER THE COUNTER.

Have you investigated WHY you get a dry mouth?
When you say you drink a lot, is this plain water or caffeine-based drinks? Do you take any medication (e.g. antidepressants) that can cause dry mouths? Do you use alcohol-based mouthwashes like Listerine (16%) that can dry the tissues?
Have your salivary flow properly measured and investigated - some dental practices can do this for you.
If you don't have any of these risk factors, then I would use a sugarless gum.

There's a product called BIOTENE that you can get in the dental aisle near mouth wash that is a liquid that is very good for dry mouth problems. They also make a sugarless gum that can be helpful if the dry mouth condition is a problem when you speak.

Biotene and Salivart are two great products... and they can be found at pharmacies/grocery stores, etc... near the mouthwashes. If yours doesn't carry either one of them, ask them to order it.

Biotene has gum, drops, rinse and toothpaste, I believe.. not sure what Salivart has in addition to the rinse...

Chew SUGARLESS gum only, otherwise you will have another problem on your hands. Are you taking allergy meds
or something that's making your mouth dry? Drink water or
diet drinks frequently too.
