Everything that exists is from God and/or is a part of God. When God sent us out from him he placed us in a physical body with a spirit that is from him and/or a part of him. We then choose our actions using our physical body which is independent from out spirits. If we corrupt that spirit in us by doing evil we are actually corrupting a part of God and get this...a house divided against itself will not stand and God cannot be corrupted so he must seperate himself from us. So it is not so much God is actually judging our actions it is we are corrupting his presence and due to a law that God ordaned before we came to Earth he must follow those laws. It is then our responsibility to keep holy the spirit of God in us and to not corrupt it so we can be reunited back to him. Wow let me know what you think...

Is it that hard to believe that we are not seperate from God but just a part of him that. When he breathed life into us what is that life? How is that word translated? I think it is possible the word life means spirit of God.

I think everyone is being a little rough on you, look it is impossible to corrupt God.
You are right in that God is the source of everything but try to think of it this way even though the fruit comes from the tree and even if it rots on the tree it doesn't corrupt the tree.

There are many instances of corruption in the bible but I think Deuteronomy is closest to what you are thinking with your question.

Deuteronomy 32:5
But they have acted corruptly toward him; when they act so perversely, are they really his children? They are a deceitful and twisted generation.

some thing tell me that your not fully understanding the Bible yes we are apart of God but because he created us in his own image God had us on his mind way before we were created or the earth God gave us life we are not corrupting Him we are corrupting the world that he gave us. If you believe in Jesus and that He died for our sins and rose again then all we need to do is follow the commandments. there is no way that God has been corrupted by us we're the ones who are corrupted. so please understand that even those of you who are absent minded to the truth that God never sinned Thank you

I agree with some of what you stated. I believe man separated himself from God when he decided to think and act like mortals instead of the spiritual beings that we really are. God is God. He never changes. Man must change. He must return to his true nature, spirit, before God can again communicate with us. If we don't accomplish this in this life then we certainly will when this physical life ends and Spirit is all that remains.

So in essence you are saying that God, kills parts of himself all the time for example in the OT all that slaughter was because those "parts" of God were not "good enough" or were "corrupting" the whole... That is to me completely illogical it's like saying "Well my penis is corrupting my body with lustful thoughts so I am going to seperate myself from it, physically" it makes no sense.. You fight against Nature itself, and religion fights against Nature.. it makes no sense. Each part of us is worthy, we are all one species, each of us deserves and is entitled to their place within the "whole" none should be cut off or left behind for that will never fix the problem. We must unite all together to heal the parts of our society that are ill, we must not ignore and cut off the pieces of humanity which are corrupt, we must heal and integrate the whole together... otherwise we will just get smaller and smaller until there is nothing left. I have no place in my life, my beliefs or my ideals for a God or being that has no interest in healing the sickest parts of humanity.. I believe NOBODY should eb left behind, cut off or seperated, because we are a whole and if you cut off too much and seperate too much then you are nothing. If you are a doctor you don't just cut off a persons arm because it is injured you try to heal it first and keep it part of the whole.. it is only a last resort to cut off a piece of oneself for the greater good. If you ask me the only piece of humanity that needs to be cut off for the greater good is religion.. and even then I don't want to cut those people out I want them to see the truth and I want them to be paryt of a whole society, humanity united as one. Religion as you have so clearly showed works on the principle of divide and conquer.. divide the people between chosen and forsaken, and cause hatred and bigotry for those who have been seperated by the doctrine of religion. No I think it is our responsibility to UNITE humanity to coalesce the HUMAN spirit as one. So that ALL of humanity can be united together for the greater good.

I think you're trying to put your own personal spin on things. That's how we get new (and really ODD) religions.

God breathes life into us, but that doesn't make us a part of Him. It makes Him the creator and us the creation. You can say a painting has it's artist "in" it....but it doesn't really; that's just a manner of speaking.

So when we sin we are not corrupting God.

From deference to man it gives insufficient weight to the glory of God.

God's glory is shown in creation.

We are a spectacle to the angels.

That God is love, is demonstrated by His choosing to make provision for the salvation of undeserving Adam and Eve and all thereafter. This further reveals the glory of God.

All then may know the immeasurable love and mercy and goodness of God and may love Him and serve Him for Himself rather than from fear or compulsion.

None in their right minds could be other than melted by this greatest love story ever, revealed to us in Jesus Christ.

Through Him we can be restored to the glory of God.

That sin is so aboundingly great is demonstrated in the refusal of those deceived by the god of this world, and their own foolishness and lusts. In that sense they separate themselves from the glory of God.

Yet Justice demands that sin be punished. Sin harms and destroys and will receive its reward and consequence.

Thus in the judgement of sinners God's glory is manifested without any diminishing of His revealed glory of love and mercy.

Such is the perfect and infinite glory of God Who yet in the ages to come, might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

We are not god, nor part of god. We are outside of god, his image and likeness. we were created at conception. We are united to god without being part of him. kind of like a dependent, a parasite and host, we are one that cannot exist without the other (god) being present to sustain it. It is mercy that keeps us alive and away from the wrath of god's justice for breaking his commands.

the latter part of thinking is right but the upper part of thinking is wrong. Mercy unites us with that lost union with god.
