Sauerkraut comes in cans and jars (in the refrigerated pickle section). You could also check your favourite deli..

What do you mean already cooked? Sauerkraut the finished product of pickled cabbage.

Any large Grocery chain (Safeway, Albertsons, Piggly Wiggly, etc) Will carry it - personally I recommend the Vlassic brand it is nice and crunchy, comes in a glass bottle so is free of that metallic taste and you can use as much as you need and leave the rest in the jar for next time. It is usually in the same aisle as pickles and mustard. Good Luck!
