A 1st, 2nd, 3rd ect. generation Christian?

at least third generation...probably more depending on how you look at it (is one relative enough to count as a generation of Christians?).
My dad is a pastor...my mom was also a strong believer.
Dad's parents were Catholic (though his father wasn't very religious). Because my grandma's parents came her from Ireland, I suspect she came from a long line of Irish Catholics...don't know about grandpa's ancestors though I'm pretty sure his mom was Catholic too by association but not strong in practice.
My mom's mom was a devout Baptist (her dad was more of a "back-row Baptist"). Since all of my grandma's brothers and sisters were also Baptist, I suspect their parents (at least one) were also Baptist...people, especially poor people, didn't do a lot of church hopping in those days.

I suppose I'd be 2nd generation since my mom and dad are both Christians.

Depends on which side of the family you are talking about. My Grandmother's family (dad's side) has been in church as far back as I know about, but my mom was the first of either side of her family to get in church (nearly her whole family is in now though), so at least 2nd, but could be counted as 5+.

Well I will say 1st, because mom and dad never took us to church but maybe for a year. Maybe way less. I was very young so don't recall it that much. Us kids went on a church bus for a while. Now my mom is back in church and says she is saved but only God knows that.

2nd...my grandparents didnt go on moms side
but gramma on Dads side did so 3rd i guess..
