The MoriLee is stunning. With your figure you will look outstanding with that gown. It makes a statement and you will not look like every other bride with the pick up poof bottom, A-Line dress. This is a gorgeous dress..Go for it. You will make a beautiful bride I am sure. For a veil, you could use a long veil with crystals and beads intertwined in the tulle...something to think about.

I'm not able to see either dress, but I am very great with fashion help. I was going to be a wedding dress designer, before I met my fiance. Now NYC is too far off from our lifestyle. Soooo, choose a dress that is more fitted at the bodice (chest area to waist area) and skirt that is fuller. You are actually close to my measurements...try a style of dress that I'm getting. My dress is: Pronovia's: Oleaje

With your measurements you should pretty much be able to wear any type of dress.... I would go out and try a few on, you may absolutely hate one style or love another... you cant base everything off of pictures because of course the models are beautiful and the photos have been photo-shopped to make them look that much better.... You may want to also consider undergarments you might have to wear with the specific dresses (bras, slips, etc).
And also, my personal opinion... david's bridal is WAAAY over done... just on Yahoo!Answers I've seen the first dress at least 10 times... of course if you love that dress, go for it... but look around elsewhere, no one says you have to go with david's bridal.
Good luck!

Go fitted for sure!!! Be proud of your figure! I am wearing a mermaid style gown and am pretty much the same size as you. I think if you have an hourglass figure, it would be crazy to hide it in a big poofy dress! I am proud of my curves!
However, if your family (or his) is very conservative, I would go with something more "traditional".
Either way, have fun!

To be honest, I think the only way is to try on alot of different types of dresses. The gown I ended up picking was nothing like what I had imagined, and I'm so glad I took the sales person's asvice and tried it on.
There isn't alot that would look bad on you, but finding the dress that suits you perfectly is more the result of trying different things on.

The second one is great! You're tall and thin, so almost any style will work well for you. I personally don't like the tube with puffy bottom, but ... that's just my own preference.
The second gown is a bit different, and it's very pretty.

Wear what you feel comfortable in. Remember when you walk down the aisle and he is crying or smiling from ear to ear you know that it was the right dress. I am sure you will look great in both dresses. Also depends on how formal your wedding is and of course where and when you have it.

Both are very flattering, but I'm more of a traditionalist, so while it doesn't necessarily appeal to me personally, the 1st one is more to my liking.
However, it is YOUR wedding, so what I would recommend is trying the dress on and wear it for a while in the shop. Just remember that you'll have to wear it for many, many HOURS, so it should be something you're going to be comfortable wearing long-term.

The second one. Don't hide your figure in a puffy dress.

Both pretty, bet expensive too. I'd rather have the money first starting out.
You could wear a flower sack and look good, according to your description.
Good luck.
