Necrosis is dead tissue, and hyperbaric treatment will not make it regenerate.
Truthfully, I worked at a hyperbaric center in their outpatient rehab clinic, where many families had turned for help as a last resort. Many of the patients had severe to profound brain injury (lots of brain necrosis). After 2-3 months of hyperbaric O2 treatment 6 days per week (at $200 per treatmnent), very few showed measurable improvement. Most (better than 90%, in my estimation), only gained one level on the Rancho Los Amigos Brain Injury Scale, if that. The ones who did the best had only mild to moderate symptoms at the onset of treatment.
I finally left the job after realizing the guy who ran it only wanted to pad his pockets. I still don't list it on my resume.
