no because your body needs sleep to function properly just as it needs food you wouldn't die form it but you would definitely be miserable

Not for very long. The human body really needs between 6 and 8 hours of sleep a night for an adult. Sleep deprivation can lead to hallucination, mood swings, and other disorders. It'll also increase your chances for injury or accident. It's ok for a couple of days here and there but not good for a long-term habit.

Thomas Edison spent several years sleeping a *total* of only about 3 hours a day. I say total because he would take a 20 minute nap every two hours or so. So. Is it possible, yes, I suppose. But even Edison admitted his life was far from "normal". I would imagine the lack of REM sleep would take its toll on your mental health.

humans need 7-8 hours of sleep to maintain physical and mental health. there are rare instances of people that sleep shorter periods of time, but more often. 2-4 naps of 2-4 hours each. sleeping allows your body to rest and repair. dreaming allows your mind to remain functional.

No I did it for a year and it was like there was this whole other side of me when I went to sleep I was really awake and I would do things unconsciously. I started this club but the first rule of the club was not to talk abou the club.

Kramer tried this on Seinfeld. It does not work. Very few people could make it on that little sleep regularly.
