Just put the return address in the spot where you normally would put the recipients address and the recipients in the return address spot, dont put any postage on it and it will be returned to the address you wanted to send it to, cheap way to send christmas cards, ha ha
And the answer to your question is no you dont need a return address.

you can send it without a return address, but if it can't be delivered (wrong address, person no longer at that address, etc), they cannot return it to you. Plus after the anthrax scare about 5-6 years ago, some people will not open an envelope without a return address on it.

Yes you can. If you want the recipient to reply to what you've sent then you need to put a return address on it. Otherwise, just don't put your address on the envelope & it will remain annonymous.

Always put a retunn address on something if it is important....mail does get lost sometimes.

they could grant it postage due - the guy receiving the letter will could desire to pay the postage (in the event that they settle for the letter) OR, on account that they could't deliver it back to the sender (you) for postage, they only could throw it into the "ineffective mail report".
