I have been told I'm too late to order their own Eastern Car. dollars, but also been told that they accept US dollars there, as well as British sterling, is this right?
Thanks!

You can more than likely exchange your currency when you arrive in country. Like most countries, they will probably only accept their currency.

The currency there is the East Carribean Dollar.

Use your ATM card to withdraw money from your checking account in the local currency when you get there:
Eastern Caribbean Dollar
XCD2.67 / USD 1

Hope that helps!

East Caribbean dollar (XCD) https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/gj.html#Econ

You can use your credit card, though, just like home.
You can probably use your USD or GBP at lots of places, but you might be better off changing them at a bank -- you are likely to get a better exchange rate.

You can take US$ and British Pounds when visiting. At the commercial banks there or at the airport you can have them converted to EC$.
