she's long past her expiry date
once upon a time -back in 1970s- she glowed by her beauty but many rumors go around that it was her boy-friend Ruchan Adli who fixed & closed the deals for her.
Ruchan Adli was a very rich playboy & business man back then -married with children but also holding Turkan Soray as mistress.
He even hired some poets & writers to write poems and novels just for publishing under the name Turkan Soray. SO Turkan Soray put her name on lyrics, poems and books as a writer although she never took part in them. All was the power coming from Ruchan Adli's money.
When we watch those Turkan Soray movies today we get to realize that she had no talent to act at all. (Later on many mıovie driectors, actors etc. confessed this up in their memories or on interviews)
Her kid Yagmur and her marriage with Cihan Unal were all tragi-comedies which we remember with despise
But she's turned like an idol by now so not many people have the guts to tell these truths outloud. All in all, we don't want to insult an old lady

She "was" good looking i guess. She has her style of acting,but can't say she is my fav.

I like her and her movies. Specially "Dönüs". that movie makes me cry whenever i watch it.
To Earthling: I love old Turkish movies. When i am in Turkey i watch 2-3 in a row:-)

She is absolutely a very beautiful woman, well she was once at least.
I like her old movies (today I watched one of those maybe 4587656th time lol, and she was like a goddess in it). She is not maybe the best actress but she has a special place in Turkish movie history.
Leprechaun: hehe no, I saw Sultan on TV today but didn't watch it. I found "tatlı meleÄim" on fox, it was with Ediz Hun. It was a funny movie. She was first a clumsy and an ugly secretary and then she transformed into a model :> Of course, she was playing with the guy who found her ugly first. Classic story. But I can't help watching these old movies :>

she used to be very beautiful and talented
i loved the series called tatlı hayat where she played with haluk bilginer. i also like the movies she played when she was young
