Aleve is made by Bayer, which is a German company with facilities all over the world. They do not have to disclose where the product is made, but the manufacturing location is part of the code on the bottle. Maybe Bayer would tell you where a particular bottle was made if you sent them the code from the label.
Most likely, they either own or contract manufacturing with one or more plants in each of these places: US, EU, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, etc.

The oval-shaped Aleve is also 250mg, just like the round ones. It was probably a manufacturing error. (Like when you get one curly fry in with a bunch of "regular fries".) That being said, there are a lot of way to help headaches and general body aches and pains without the use of drugs. Drink lots of water, do some light stretching, lay down to rest... Many people have also reported having great success with alternative treatments like acupuncture, massage and chiropractic. Best of luck to you in curing what ails you! :o)
