Ok, I planned to stay at my girlfriends this wkend because her parents are out, so supposly i thought I will indeed sleep with her at night.
However she has told me she has heavy bedtime incontience (I think thats the right word) and she has to wear some adult diapers at night.
Its all abit strange for a 18 year old girl to be wearing diapers at night.. Nonetheless it didnt bother me, at first, untill I woke up the next morning with a girl lying half on top of me wearing a heavy sagging diaper.. i mean, you wouldn't want to leave her lying in a soggy sack of her own urine, right? yes gross as it may seem..
I still love her I find this abit "werid" in a way. Does anyone have any advice? Its all I strange situation so advice would be helpful . Thanks

well, would you still love her if she had some other medical condition that weren't so "strange"? people can't help what their bodies are going to do. if you truly love someone, you take ALL the bad with ALL the good

Incontinence ~~ is sometimes brought on by stress and many other health issues, and it is NOT her fault and it is NOT gross! I have been a nurse for many years and I can say from experience that she could someday be free from this OVER NIGHT! if it is due to stress at home, if there are other reasons it may be something she will never overcome. I am POSSITIVE she did not wake up one day saying GOD I WISH I could wear diapers FOREVER! I think your an AMAZING GIRL for not judging her! Incredible for her to have a friend so relaxed and understanding, I wish there were more people in the world EXACTLY LIKE YOU!!! You understand in a way~~ that she cannot control this ~~~ What an AMAZING friend you ARE!!!! Don't be worried about waking up to a wet diaper, chances are she wears them just in case she has an accident. Incontinence is so embarassing and she just fortunate to be able to have a friend that doesn't judge her by her misfortunes. You truly are an INCREDIBLE FRIEND! One in a million!

Whoa. now that is a touchy subject. At least she was comfortable enough to explain the situation. Has she seen a Doctor? If not, she definitely should, 18 is way too old or way too young to have this problem. During the day when she urinates, she should stop the flow, then start, then stop, etc... That works out the Kegal muscles. That is what the Doctor told my niece when she had this problem at age 13. She is now dry all night. Good Luck!

Try this again when you are wedded to her.
Do not go and sleep over in a girl' house with out the parents there. Just bad form. Or had the parents given you permission? Would you want to marry a woman who has parents that think overnights were ok? Bit weird is my opinion - of the whole schebang actually.

I can understand how this would make you uncomfortable and a little grossed out.
She was honest with you upfront, though. It shows great courage on her part to be that honest with you in the beginning, instead of trying to hide it. I'm afraid that this is, indeed, your thing to get over (my intention is to be blunt, not inconsiderate).
You may wish to talk to her about how you're feeling about this, that it makes you a bit uncomfortable when she's soiled-diaper-clad on top of you in the morning. But it's entirely up to you. Have some consideration for her feelings, and try to approach the situation with as much caution and tact as possible.
of course, there's always the 'easy' way out....break up with her.

I'm wondering if this is a "real" question. If it is real I say good for you in being so accepting. In all honesty at certain times when I'm sick I have a similar problem but it happens when I sneeze or cough. I don't wear the diapers---shhhh I have on occasion but it's never been a every night thing. MANY women have this problem but not all of us wear the diapers all the time......
You'd be surprised how many women have this problem. It usually happens when I'm ill. Accept your girlfriend. You might ask her if you find her like that if she'd want you to change it or not...........

Yes, it's inconvenient and a little gross. But she can't help it and I'm sure it embarrasses her too!
I would suggest discussing alternative sleeping arrangements, but since you're not actually living together I would say just let it go. You don't have to spend the whole night. Or bring a sleeping bad and sleep on the floor. It might hurt her feelings but if it bothers you that much then you should tell her.

A lot of people have "bedwetting" issues until adulthood. If you really love her, encourage her to get help. It could be physical or emotional but most of the time the problem can be helped.
