His film was a documentary, and had the basic science correct.

Besides which, Gore has put a lot of effort into spreading information about global warming besides making "An Inconvenient Truth". He deserved to share the award with the IPCC scientists for his efforts.

WHAT?!! and we give this guy a Nobel Peace Prize.... doesnt that devalue the contribution of Ghandi, Mother Therisa and Martin Luther King just a little bit? why dont you DO something for the world not just regurgitate crap science which has been graphed up to look nice and horribly misconstrued in the process.
FACT: 95% of green house gases are H2O (a fact which these so called climate scientists neglect to mention)
FACT: Humans account for less than half a precent of all greenhouse gases in the atmosphere with water taken into account
FACT: the earth goes though geological cycles of warming and cooling on the time scale of thousands of years and we are WAY over due for one

Lol, Not a darn thing. What did they say? That he got the prize for publicizing man made global warming. Wow, does that ever de-value that award (if it hasn't been done already). Surprised they didn't give the award to Iran for publicizing their fake offer to help stabilize Iraq, while they are funding the terrorist there. Al Gore makes his docu-comedy on global warming issue that not only can they not prove, but it gets debunked more and more everyday, all the while living in lavish non-green houses, flying around the country using more carbon than the average liberal nut case (not that I care) and he get a Nobel prize for publicizing.
