COuld be a couple of different things. She may have worms or she may have an upset tummy. Has she been eating grass or other stuff outside? If so it is proboly an upset tummy and a little Kaopectate should help. If she doesn't get better in soon you should take her to the vet. It could also be a couple of other things. The vet is the best one to diagnose it.

Maybe she swallowed a cat with hairballs! ;)
Seriously, though, some dogs have an innate need to eat grass, which causes them to throw-up; it's perfectly natural, and causes no harm to the pet. If you've seen your pet eat grass, then, generally speaking, it's nothing to worry about (dogs don't do it every day).
However, it could also be that she's getting into someone's trash or eating plants that are not good for her (scant few plants are considered good for dogs).
Regardless, if this has been going on for two weeks, then you need to see your vet, immediately.

I can't tell you what's wrong with her cause I'm not a vet... But maybe she ate something that made her sick. If she's an outdoor dog, perhaps she ate an animal of some sort. My dog did this once and threw up for daysss.
Your best bet is to take her to the vets.

definitely a hairball! my dog does that occasionally too. just let it be and let it cough it out, it won't choke so don't worry and it will be fine. in most cases dogs just swallow it back up but in this case when you see your dog coughing and hcking again, this time be close to her and open her mouth every so often until you have sight of what she is trying to cough up. try to remove the hairball from her mouth before she ends up swallowing it again

My dog used to do the same thing. Somtimes she threw up water type stuff. It usually happened after she ate or if she drank alot of water at one time after going for a walk. It could be something she ate that came back up. If your concerned take her to the vet.

Choke chain collars can cause compression on the trachea ( breathing tube). Do you use one of these? If so try a leather collar and make sure yo can get 2 fingers in the gap.

Ew. :( Maybe she ate something she shouldn't have, like a rodent. If you think its affecting her health, I'd take her to the vet or just call them up and tell them whats going on and they'll probably have better advice for you. Good luck!

My Boston Terrier has always done that! I haven't asked the vet but my sister-in-law did about her Maltese & the Vet told her to stand the dog up straight, hold her like under the arm pits, with head up, I don't know what it is but that does help.?????????????
