I don't know where you live, but in CT, the job market is pretty much the same, it's hard to find a good job, a good paying job and especially one in your field of study. Obviously if you are in need of money and stability, you need to branch out from "finance" can you take and analyst position, or insurance position? It's important to find a job and get some experience, and just because you take a position does not mean you need to keep it if something better comes along.
Have you tried monster.com and careerbuilder.com? They're pretty popular, too. Good luck!

Attempt to apply with multiple temp agencies. Often, you can get your foot in the door that way and the company will hire you directly after a certain period of time. Or, if the company doesn't hire you, you have added experience to your resume.
Have you tried having someone else look at you resume to help you improve it and make you more marketable?

Finding a good real paying job after college can be a daunting task. However, can you find a similar job in a different market perhaps ? It would give you good experience doing something in a different field. It's just a suggestion if you can't find the exact position you want at this time. Good luck

The financial market has hit a slight bump in the last couple of months. It may be harder to find a finance job in the current market. However, that is not impossible.
My advice for getting a job is network, network, network! Network like crazy. Do you have any friends working in the field you're interested in? Have you talked to any alumni?
These are the best ways to get your desired position.

I had the same problem you did. What I did was I just kept going. Sometimes you may wanna give up and sometimes you may feel like crying, but you got to press on. Always remember to always ask for what you want and don't settle for less!
