Typical cover of war excuse. We keep trying harder to go up that "S - - t Creek without a paddle." But, stopping the cause and effect reaction is not easy.

This at the same Turkey is putting pressure on Bush to stop US Congress from condemning it (22 other countries have already done so) for the Muslim atrocities in 1915, i.e. killing one million Armenian Christians without any global response. (They claim cover of war as well) Otherwise Turkey won't let us use the eastern base to transport munitions into Iraq. Coincidentally, Hitler used the model of Armenian extermination as proof the world would not stop him, i.e. only 20 years had passed and no one cared about the Armenians any more. Turkey is still fighting what they call terrorists - stemming from this past atrocity and the cycle of cause and effect.

When Bush is removed from office, it will take years to undo the damage, but we can never bring back the ones we've lost to his blunders. We can only hope that Cheney's push to start bombing Iran over their 'stiff-arming' Halliburton on the gas-field contract won't happen in the meantime. We've killed enough Iranian children already, by supporting Saddam Hussein with weapons - during that unconscionable conflict that ended 15 years ago. Cheney was in on that one as well.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) 12 October 2007: - A bomb hidden in a cart of toys killed two children and wounded 17 others in a playground in northern Iraq on Friday, the first day of a national holiday to celebrate the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Police Colonel Abbas Mohammed said a would-be suicide bomber pushed the cart into a play area in the predominantly Shi'ite northern town of Tuz Khurmato. He said the bomber was wounded.

The town's mayor, Mohammed Rasheed, told Reuters two boys aged between 10 and 12 had died and another 17 people under the age of 18 had been wounded in the deadly attack.

A youth with a smashed, bloodied face and mangled hand lay on a hospital bed in the nearby city of Kirkuk after the attack.

A man prayed by an injured boy while doctors wreathed the chest, arms and shoulders of another with bandages.

+ OK Well we do agree on 1 thing, i aree that the US should not be trying to rule over or run iraq and bordering countries they do have their own leaders for that. what i am saying is that i may not know why our us military is there but while they are they are going to make/find a way to defend themselves they don't go out -out to kill all iraqi's just when they are/feel threatened - like it or not the terrorists do the same thing thats why the bad guys kill themselves just to kill our us military.

We are not the terrorists idiot, they are! We are at WAR with them. Do you not remember the World Trade Center falling to the ground? How many innocent people died there? It is true we should do everything in our power to keep innocent people from getting killed but this is war and people die. If I were in charge of the military over in Iraq instead of the Politicians here in America I would bomb the hell out of Bagdad until there were no buildings standing, then move on to the next city that had suspected terrorist activity building. Then bomb that city out of exitstance. And I would keep doing it until the Iraqi people took the terrorists to task themselves. Otherwise keep it up until the entire country is devoid of life and bombs and terrorists. There are 'no' innocents in War.
