split 707 means it used to be 707, but now it would be 369. the list of cities covered is: Fairfield, Benicia, Vallejo, Suisun City, Vacaville, Dixon and Rio Vista.

It was supposed to be mostly in Solano County, about half way between San Francisco and Sacramento CA, however, the split has not yet taken place, and is apparently cancelled. It could be reinstated at a later date.

Vallejo, Vacaville, Benecia, Fairfield...that area.

The "707 split" was done back in 2000-2002 where they took that whole area which was all 707, and split it up into 3 different area codes: 707, 369, and 627.
