Throw away those un-used antibiotics. It's people like you who are causing all the "supergerms" to mutate. Have your friend go to her dentist TODAY. An abcess can cause heart disease.

Your partner need to get to a dentist or ER NOW...Abcesses of the mouth can be very dangerous if not treated fast enough. The infection will travel and eventual kill a person over a short period of time. I have personally seen and assisted in the treatment a 24 yr old woman who had a raging mouth abcess that had been going on for about 3 days before she came to ER...the infection had traveled into bloodstream and other organs..needless to say this young woman never left the hospital or ER...dental infections are very serious and bad endings happen more than you think ..your friend needs to be seen now.today.....most dentists will see you on an emergency basis...some want insurance others will see you and set up payment plan because they know how serious it can get.

Yes they will help, but with a absess that bad she likely will need something stronger. She needs to get rid of this before it gets into her bloodstream and can affect her organs and yes death can happen and has. Absesses are nothing to fool around with. Once she gest rid of the infection they will want to do a root canal and crown if the tooth can be saved otherwise they will just pull it.

Get her to the er asap. The infection from the abcess can be very serious if it spreads. Let a professional take a look at it!

Abcessed? Best life-saving avice from this nurse is to go dee a doctor. Do not give your partner your antibiotics. Why do you have "spare" amoxicillin?

My dentist pulled mine right away then prescribed antibiotics and had me use ice packs.
She needs to see a dentist right away. The infection can cause other problems in her system.
