God works in the hearts of all through the Holy Ghost to bring them to salvation. As the Holy Ghost does this work, some answer yes and some answer no. God will not give up on your husband and according to scripture, unless he is breaking his vows to you, neither should you. May God bless you and your family as you continue in your struggles.
edit: Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men...
1 Peter 3:1-2 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.

I was just listening to a Christian radio program that was about wives being married to unbelievers. Well, are you pushing your husband to believe, or do you stand aside, and let God do His work? I know I've had the same problem with my husband. He claims to be a Christian, but, then does unChrist-like things. I try to live my life according to God's will. Sometimes if a husband sees a wife living her life this way, it will bring him to the Lord. If you think you can change him, don't believe it. No one can change anyone, except Jesus, who comes into one's heart. Pray for him everyday. Ask the Lord to soften his heart, so that he can accept Him. One must have a heart for God in order to be saved. It is all a personal thing between a person and God, so it isn't up to you to save your husband. That has to be his own choice. I know what you are going through, believe me. It is not easy living with an unbeliever if you are a believer. But, trying to push him towards God will not help. I found that out, for sure. Like I said, keep praying, and give it over to the Lord. I'll pray for you and your husband. God Bless

Because not everyone is going to believe like you do. I'm sorry if that's upsetting but...that's just how it is. If your husband is an atheist (or just a non-Christian) then he would probably not have a problem lieing on your Bible (I know I don't...) As for him lieing all the time..well...how bad are the lies? Are they white lies like..."Honey I'm going to McDonald's" and he comes back with Burger King? Or is it serious like..."Honey I'm going to work..." and comes home with glitter and the smell of cheap perfume on? If it's serious...you may want to talk to him about your marriage, if it's the white lies..I'd say get over it...but that's just my opinion. Hope that helps...

You have to be willing to get the Holy Ghost; he won't force himself on anybody.

Some refuse to admit there is a God they have to eventually answer to. These people feel self-sufficient and in need of no one or God.
However, circumstances can change, and he can find himself in a situation where his dependence on himself isn't enough.
Keep praying for him.

You believe differently than your husband. There is nothing wrong with that. You have to know that you are only responsible for yourself, you can't force your point of view on others. If you believe that you have that, great. That doesn't mean that everyone else has to have it, too.

Not everyone can be as enlightened as you.
I would look into getting a "ghost transfusion" for your husband. Basically a priest opens the prayer waves with God and with his help, he transfers some of your ghost to your husband.
