Whenever there is a scandal involving the church ie child abuse or paedophilia,it nearly always seems to be the catholic church/clergy that are involved.
Can anyone give me a reason as to why that is?

Because Catholicism is the largest Christian organization, so their number of bad apples is going to be higher than other organizations, even if the ratio of bad to good is slightly less than the other organizations.

All of the Churches have these problems but, it is just that the media loves to jump on the Catholic Church because it figures the more they can take away from the Church the more they are hero's in their Master Satan's eyes.

The Baptists have a higher statistic for abuse than any other denomination.

Think about the facts and then think about the distortion---this alone should point to the validity of the Catholic Church's teachings

It's not a daily occurrence of the catholic church/clergy. The occurrence of this happening is rare, however, news is big, grand.... resonating in the hearts and minds of the rest of humanity. They are regarded as the symbol of the foundation of true faith; the flag bearers supposedly. Yet falling prey to a wrong doing which society's conscience totally rejects. The noise, a big outcry, is a calling.... that the scandal be corrected because it is condemned by all. It is a weakness that befalls weak individuals, and consequently opposed by the majority. The standard is a must, must be observed. Perfect if you will, because it is due HIM, from All good things come.

Amen.

Because the media is focused on the Catholic Church. There is so much corruptions in the Southern Baptist Churches but it goes unnoticed.

Maybe the priests are highly regarded by the parishioners, thus giving them more trust and access to kids.
Maybe the kids are more accessible because of the church's programs like having alter boys/girls.
Maybe pedophiles actively seek out this profession in order to get access? I doubt this last one more than the previous two.

The problems are everywhere but when it comes to the catholic church people including the media become zealous in its downfall. In order to subvert belief the devil works very hard at achieving this end

It is not just Catholics, but they are as you said. 2 Peter, the entire 2nd chapter tells all about these false prophets. I like to use Peter's words when the Catholics are being discussed, because he is the rock upon which they are built;
a dead MAN. 2 Peter 2:

1) "...false prophets...even denying the LORD that BOUGHT
them". They deny that Jesus is the ONE LORD, and notice that the word bought is in the past tense.

3) "...with feigned words make MERCHANDISE OF YOU".
Verse 1 says the Lord bought them, but merchandise is something YET to be bought. They teach works, rather than
grace.

2 Tim 3:5, "Having a form of godliness, but denying the POWER thereof::: from such turn away". Again, they deny
the POWER OF GRACE.

Romans 1:23, "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an IMAGE made like to corruptible man".

24) "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:"

25) "WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen". They worship man's works rather than God's grace.

26) "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections".

27) "...men, leaving the natural use of the woman". They forbid to marry. "burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, AND RECEIVING IN THEMSELVES THAT RECOMPENCE OF THEIR ERROR which was meet".

Because they take a vow of celibacy and are not allowed to marry. This is an unnatural way of life for any man and many become perverts.

I knew a minister who molested his daughter. So it isn't just Catholics. However, I think you'd find this happening far less if the Pope would wake up and allow Priests to marry.

base your religion on something besides the bible and you will reap what you sow. Gal 6:7-8

This cult is based on tradition, mans ideas, vanity and pride.

They use the bible when needed to life themselves up. They pray and worship everything but the truth.

I'm expecting alot of thumbs down. If you agree let me know. the cultists like to show their vote by thumbing down me.
