umm..eating might be a good start. I doubt if you will get many sympathetic answers for your question since most people have the exact opposite problem.

I would advise not to just eat junk though as weight gain from empty calories is worse than being underweight. Try more proteins and complex carbohydrates in your diet. Dairy foods are also an option. I know that they will make me gain weight quickly (not that I am happy about it) so maybe they will help you and they do contain vital vitamins and minerals that your body needs. - like calcium which can increase bone density , and vitamins a and d (which are some of the ones depleted by smoking)

Some weight lifting might do it, but not too much.

Being underweight also, the only way I manage to gain weight is about three good 30 minute workouts a week, and eat a lot. But eat healthier. That way the muscles are stimulated to grow, but you won't burn too many calories. And get plenty of sleep.

Run, do bench press, bench pull, military press, squats. Two slow sets of 10 on each. A little jogging or running to warm-up, and some ab work.

If you want to gain weight in a healthy way, eat foods that have higher amounts of healthy fat (like peanut butters and avocados). Also, add more protein to your diet (add protein powder to smoothies or eat protein bars).

There are a lot of healthy ways to gain weight. Stay away from saturated fat, but go towards "good" fats (olive oil is another one).

Depends what type of weight you want to gain. You could try working out and eating a lot of protein. Muscle weighs a lot more than fat...

Overeating isn't the way to go...

take in more calories than you burn off. Make sure you eat healthy foods though, such as whole grains and lean protein. You just need to eat larger portions of these healthy foods. Make sure you are also exercising to keep your muscles and heart strong and healthy.

Oh, Honey! Just follow me around and eat exactly what I eat. You'll have that little problem conquered in about a week.

You need to eat healthy carbs and protein. But be careful what you wish for, once you start putting it on it may be hard to stop.
