The love man tries to express is just a emotion, which stems from their lower centers. True love is manifested by evolving and bringing completion to the tree of life thats within you, for the love is the center of the tree. So you can't know true love until you know thy self. Love isn't defined by flowery words and various other rhetoric, its something you must manifest within you to comprehend.
Only Yeshua has come to know true love, since he is the only one out of all of mankind to overcome the laws within himself.

Here's the bible definition from 1 Cor 13:4-8
Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Ask the question again after defining which Love you refer to,
the kind of love one feels for a family member, a bed partner, a hose pet, a child, a wife, God, themselves

Sounds kind of pretentious and as nonsensical as the Bible. I can get with part of the general thrust of the statement, but overall it's kind of silly.
