I know almost the whole population is Muslim but I have to make a powerpoint on the other religions in Afghanistan and I think that this project is going to be impossible to do because of the fact that anything not related to Islam is so small that it is classified as "Other"

Some jewish, some christian. Thats what I saw when i was there for 2 years. Very few though. Mainly an Islamic state. We would usually find bodies of jews and christians once in a while and even if they were fresh corpses, they weren't in good shape. Most of them didn't have their heads attached to their bodies or were missing hands, arms, feets, legs. sometimes we would find that the heads had the tongues cut out. missing ears, fingers, toes, etc. Not good.

Good Luck!

Michael

bdsmslavegirly - Muslims do not go around arbitrarily killing non-Muslims. This is a grave misconception, to put it mildly. To put it frankly, it's a slanderous lie. Please stop spreading such lies.

There are about 99% Muslims in Afghanistan, and the remaining 1% consists of Jews, Hindus, Sikhs and Parsis. Of the Muslims, appx 85% of them are Sunni and the rest are Shi'i.

Afghanistan has the granddaddy of all Western religions - Zoroastriansism. (As in "Thus Spake Zarathustra"). As religions go, it doesn't have the special effects of Hinduism, or the Volvo rebate of Buddhism, but it's pretty good.
