Strangely enough, the prices on used cars are high right now. Usually the prices fall at this time of year, but they are remaining strong this year so far!
I attended two (dealer) auto auctions this week and the prices were very high at both of them.
You may be able to find a bargain, but you will have to look hard for it!
Good luck!

Yes But 1st here are sum helpfull tools.
Private Owners
Buying a used car from a private owner may be cheaper. But private sellers are not covered by the Federal Trade Commission’s rules and don’t have to use Buyers Guides. In addition, private sales are usually not covered by the implied warranties given for dealership cars, meaning most used cars will be “as is.”
Prior to making a purchase from a private seller, do your research. Find as much information online about the car’s major systems, and use that information as a shopping tool. In addition, don’t hesitate to have a privately sold car inspected by your mechanic.
No matter if you buy a car from a private seller or dealer, protect yourself by examining the car thoroughly, test driving it under varied road conditions, inspecting the car professionally, and checking the maintenance record. Following these steps can ensure your used car will be a reliable addition to your life, and not a regrettable lemon.

THEY ARE EVERYWHERE THE PROBLEM IS THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE IN A HURRY OR JUST TOO LAZY TO LOOK FOR THEM.
THE BEST TIME THAT I HAVE FOUND TO LOOK FOR A GOOD USED CAR IS BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS, DURING THE THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS AND AFTER SCHOOL IS ENDING.
PARENTS ARE WILLING TO IN SOME CASES SELL THE SECOND HAND VEHICLE THAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE TO THE FIRST PERSON THAT COMES ALONG, UNFORTUNATELY IF YOU DON'T ACT FAST THEY USUALLY JUST TRADE IN IT AND GET HOSED BY THE DEALER.
GET ON THE BALL AND START LOOKING, GOOD LUCK.

there always are...sometimes people are too lazy to haggle with people, so they just sell their car for a really low price so no one can argue that it's not a good deal.
