I did study Islam from Muslim teachers for many years. Been there, done that. But, thanks, no. It is not for me.
On the positive side, it made me understand Muslims. Very well. I understand why Muhammad did what he did, and what is going on now around the world. All I can say is, if it is for you! Good for you, But me, thanks no. Don't hate me for telling you what I truly believe. I feel sorry for the man. I don't hate him. May he rest in peace. I have a real hard time being on of his students with the things that he did in his life. When I think of Muhammad, I only hope that God will have mercy on him, and forgive his sins.
Just because many people are converting, doesn't mean it is the only truth.

While in Jerusalem, I went into the Dome of the Rock, where the guide tried to convince me that Abraham offered Ishmael to allah, instead of almost offering Issac to Eloheinu. While inside, I felt no peace and saw a bunch of people who seemed confused. Just because a religion has a high number of converts does not mean a thing. All muslims need to understand that Jesus was not just a prophet and that they need atonement for their sins. I have studied Islam and talk about contradictions! I found its tennents full of violence and its beliefs incomplete. It does not answer the question, 'how do I solve my sin problem.' Thank you for offering, but I'll take Jesus any day over Islam.

Islam is a beautiful religion I agree with you. It is peaceful and those terrorists are not even muslims they are TERRORISTS. In islam if you kill one person then it is known to be like killing all of humanity. it is very wrong to inflict violence on others. as it is in all the other major religions. islam stemmed from judaism and christianity so if you hate islam then u hate the other religions as well. and yes islam does have the most number of converts and the ignorant people associating muslim with bombs need to start researching on their own instead of reading what the media says which always tells only one side of the story.

That was well-spoken, but you talked all around the issue of Islamic violence and that is not quite honest. You imply that people are prejudiced against Islam for no reason. You must know in your heart that isnt so. From your place of peace, speak to us also of the public bombings, the stoning, the beheading;;;;;;;;all the things that make people dislike Muslims.

holy moly lol kk listen carefully people, God sent the Bible but ignorant people who gave in to evil changed the bible and made Jesus the God when hes no more then a messenger of God, if Christians looks the Jews situation and see how they believe in Moses as God they laugh well guess what wee laugh at you because ur no different and same goes for Jews. Want to know what Islam says about Moses and Jesus go the website but i assure you that it doesnt anything about them being God. http://www.jannah.org/qurantrans/quran19.html

As for you're question ma'm , I'm not sure if Islam is the relegion with highest conversions but most likely it is true but heres one thing i garuantee, some time before the day of judgment, I'd say around 85% to 95% will be all Islam, mark my words, i dont know if we will live to see tht day, for God knows all.

That your religion has the highest number of converts is not necessarily a good thing ! This is what the bible says ......This is what my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus says "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Mathew 7:13

Where do you get your statistics? I keep hearing about all these converts to Islam, but no one ever cites the source of these statistics.
Also, how much have you studied Islam? You say to learn it. But how much have you studied the Koran and the life of Muhammad? The more I study it, the less the chance that I'll ever convert.

What point you are trying to make?
Everybody likes there religion & believes that it explains truth of universe.
I don't have any problem with Islam also.
Don't forget Sunni & Shia conflict also.
Anyway there are as many ways to think as there are people.
Did you asked any question? because this is Yahoo question-answer site.

I have actually took the time to study Islam and understand it. Your correct that not all Muslims are extremists and believe in violence to further their agenda.
The problem is Islam doesn't measure up to the truth. I'm not trying to be disrespectful that is not what I am trying to do, but Islam is man made religion.

it's to do with beleif
While your belief says, christians are idol worshippers as they beleive Jesus died for their sins
At the same time your mosques have moons on the top of their towers
Also every islamic nation has a flag with a moon and sun coming together
this will suggest a link to moon and sun worship
why have those symbols if you don't need any
they stem originally from egypt, the worship of the moon and the sun god.
Ask your iman why you have moon and sun on your flag, or a moon on top of your builiding, he will either say he does not know
or he will get cross with you as you are not supposed to ask
If you do ask, make sure you have many people as witneseses near by, as if you get into trouble you should make sure people see why
thanks
