It will affect your health and everyone else in the gym by spreading your germs. Take a day or so off until you're over your cold.

Well they say anything above the neck, still go to the gym. Anything below the neck, don't go (you can imagine what all that straining might do if you have the runs... eesh...)

But even better than that, don't go. You could end up infecting everyone else and intense exercise actually REDUCES the performance of your immune system (which is why eating right is so important when exercising regularly), which is why you should definately stay away!

I hope this helps!

If you were a considerate person to others, you wouldn't go to the gym. You'd only infect the items you touch and others you come in contact with. I HATE when someone is sick with bad colds like at parties, and they are such a jerk for coming over and risking everyone else.

well you could but you will find it is painful on your chest and lungs so i would recommend that you wait until you are over the cold because there is no fun in having pain all the y through your work outs if you are really into the fitness thing then just do a light work outs at home such as weights (dumbbells).

Not only will you spread your germs everywhere, but your body will not get over the cold as quickly as its too busy working to replenish your muscles after the workout.

Depends how bad it is... some people say it's better to "sweat out a cold" If you lose energy just by getting up to walk, don't go to the gym... if your cold is just an annoying thing, I would say go to the gym!

Who cares about your workout? It's irresponsible to all of the other patrons of the gym.

It helps to exercise when you are ill. I do. But i dont advise going to the gym. Even though you sanitize equipment when you are through, you can still easily spread your germs.

yes, it will definitely affect on your workout, you will be exhausted easily. It will make you're temperature to rise and making you're cold worst. So i suggest you to rest.

Not very healthy for the other people there. Could you not work out at home? The sweating might do you good.
