I'm getting a pit bull mix the end of October and my boyfriend and I cannot think of a name for likes of day. We thought of Tyson but I like that better for a child. I don't want anything like buddy or girly. It's going to be a boy and we already have a pit bull named Baby. Any suggestions would be great! Thank you.

i know that naming a dog is like naming a child it IS a big deal.
i have found that waiting for a day or two after you get the dog always helps. i like to see exactly what personality (or dogality) they have and I have found that it is easier to name them after seeing this.

I feel you should spend some time with the dog first. After all, you don't want to give him a name that fit (like a lazy dog named Frisky l.o.l.) I think you should name him after a few days. But I always liked the name Beau for a dog.

Try with something funny, as cookie or wally, hahaha, or something that sounds weird, like a name in another language, as Mijail, Vladimir, or even words, as Haiku haha, or just make a list of names that you'd like and choose one randomly.
