A) Define "written".
B) If you mean leave some sort of record for future generations to see and understand, then the earliest is the Australian aborigine's. They have been making pictographic representations of their faith for more than 30,000 years.
C) If you mean written as in language, then the Sumerians were prpobably the first. We have Sumerican a cuneiform tablet on how to perform certain religious rituals that dates back more than 6,500 years BCE.

Where the heck are these Bible dates coming from?
First, the Bible wasn't even completed until after 100 AD. Prior to that the Torah (the Pentateuch) was unknown until sometime close to 650, when the priests of the Yahweh cult brought it to King Josiah and said they had found it in their temple. The oldest certain date for the torah is therefore around 650 AD. Further evidence, Genesis references the city of Abraham (Ur in Sumeria) as "Ur of the Chaldeans" - the Chaldeans did not conquer Ur until the 7th Century BC. Additionally, it is prime facie unlikely taht the defining scripturala nd historical text of teh Hebrews would have been completely lost and unknown and inside a wall while the Levitical priesthood itself survived.
No, BY FAR the oldest known religious text for a continuing religion is the Rig Veda. The very earliest dating for it is 1100 BC and some scholars have suggested it is over 3000 years old.

LOL once again at primoa. The Scriptures do NOT date back 6,000 years. The earth does, remember? (Oh, I see that he actually stuck that in there.)
The Sumerian legends from which the Scriptures were plagiarized from may date back 6,000 years - he's right about that.
The earliest "religions" are probably lost in the mists of time. We have the cave paintings at Lascaux and elsewhere that seem to suggest some sort of extremely primitive religious practice; and they date back more than 15,000 years - or, according to Primoa, 9,000 years before God created the world.

We don't know--religions existed long before written language did, and we can only know the history of societies that had written language.
As an aside, the earliest written religious TEXTS were probably the Vedas (Hinduism, if you didn't know).
