2Tim. 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that
needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

This has been an interesting week of Daily Words. I have been cussed
out, cursed by prophetesses, sent to Hell, prophesied on with doom and
destruction, told off, and put on spiritual punishment by so many folks
this week that it is not funny! Well, I take that back, only by a few
folks. We have 10's of thousands that get this daily word and I gladly
report that this week, we sifted out the ones that just want candy and
cake, and are left with you, the people that hunger for true revelation.
Not that I'm anything, but a vessel. It's God's word that is revealed
here and that's all. Not for profit, not for fame, not for recognition,
or accolades, but for the equipping of the saints of God so you can be
wise, and know a devil when you see one! Don't you know that wolves in
sheep clothing want your worship? In order to do that, they have to
keep you dumber than they are. They must keep you, as Juanita Bynum puts
it "dumb sheep" that cannot question, dispute, or say anything against
what they are doing. Bishop Eddie Long even said on national tv that
people like me should come "lay before" him and humble myself so that he
can "cover me", I guess like he covers Usher! That's Ludacris (he covers
him too)! But anyway, these lessons have been given to show the real
remnant of Christ that the true men and women of God are never after
your money, never after your accolades, and will never, ever, try to keep
you in a position to not know the truth for yourselves. You see, by
keeping you beneath them and they remain celebrities, you are less than
they are and you will always "need" them to get to God. Bishop Jakes said
it like this in his Follow The Star sermon: "Sometimes it's just as
important to find your star (speaking of the star that the wise men
followed to Jesus), than it is to find Christ, because your star will lead
you to Christ!" Huh? Is there anything in LIFE more important than
finding Christ? And guess who the star represents? You guessed it, HIM!

Listen people of God. We are at war. The leadership in our churches is
falling away as the bible said it would and we gotta get smart! All you
have to do is study the Word of God for yourself. Time out for the
hollering and hooping of old regurgitated sermons about breakthrough,
miracles, seasons, harvest, favor, coming out, going through, etc. We need
to be equipped to spot these wolves and turn a deaf ear to them. Sure
we pray, but we pray for those that are being deceived. Pray that they
come to the knowledge of the truth before it's too late. Do we pray for
the wolves? Sure we do. Paul prayed for Alexander, who opposed his
message of truth and told people not to follow him, that God should repay
him for what he was doing! That sounds harsh huh? Well, that's Paul for
you. Hardcore and no holds barred when it came to his precious savior
and the wonderful bride he gave his life for!

I'm praying for the bride
brothers and sisters. I'm praying for you. I want you smart,
spiritually sober, biblically well versed, and on guard for your souls! I want
you to know what you need to know. God has no respect of persons, so why
should I? Why do men make people special and treat others as though
they don't matter? If these so called "men of God" that are really wolves
in sheep clothing were truly men of God, then they would be servants
instead of Lords! They would seek to serve the people instead of being
served by the people! They would seek to "wash the feet" of the common
man instead of bathing each other! Please people of God, don't waste your
money, time, and efforts, following wolves around. Study the Word of
God. Every believer should have an extensive bible program. Every
believer should have concordances, dictionaries, and biblical commentaries.
Every believer should study for the sermon they will preach each week,
on their jobs, at school

buy your crown in heaven. You must study, and you must build the kingdom
of God! Always remember, these wolves can't take advantage of a person
that can hear from God without them at school.

If I'm understanding you correctly, I agree with you. There are a lot of people who are preaching, but not preaching the word of God. They are trying to get people to follow them and thus, are "wolves in sheep's clothing." I also agree that one tell-tale sign is when a ministry keeps asking you for money all of the time. Asking is ok, because the bible says that a "workman is worthy of his wages" meaning that we should support people who are in ministry. Constant and repeated pleas where you are strongarming people for money are not. If you are constantly guilting and shaming people to get money for your ministry, could it be that perhaps, the season for it is over? What God calls, He supports.

I think what is confusing to people (and to myself also) is that sometimes in the midst of these sermons, there can still be a word that might change a life or touch someone positively. I think that Jakes often has a word that is helpful - he undergoes a lot of criticism. I was once at a conference were the ministers were strongarming people - really making them feel guilty so that they would give. Jakes stood up and put a stop to it - in a very gentle but firm way. In contrast, a number of years ago (in the early 90's), I saw him do just the opposite. Often, his teaching and sermons have helped me. But basically, I don't look to Jakes or any other preacher. I listen to what preachers say then run it by the Bible. If they don't match, I try to understand why they said what they said (maybe there is something that I don't know). I pray about it. If it doesn't line up with scripture, then I throw it out. People are fallible. But, if I'm having to throw out too much of what you say, then I don't listen to you anymore.

Keep preaching the bible and pointing people towards Christ. There are many many Christians who are keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus.

-This is so true! Everyone seesm to want a good sugar coated sermon- But the reality is the truth is STILL THE TRUTH!
We must hunger for the truth of God's word-- wanting to know HIS word, not our own.
Amen!

God loves...
You should be concerned that you find it so easy to publicly criticize those whom God has called. You seemed to very learned in the scriptures so I will not quote word. Be careful that you are not openly mocking God, when it comes to his servants.

If you see a brother overcome in a fault, all of us who understand the mind of Christ and follow the Spirit of God, (you who are spiritual) restore that man or woman in a spirit of meekness. How can you accuse God's servants openly like this? Whether you are right or wrong, God said, and he will not change, "don't touch my anointed.".

I am sorry but you need to study a little more about how to deal with what you might believe is an error. And please be careful, when you speak of God's anointed, God's church, the body of Christ any believer. We are to follow peace and holiness, without this we will not see the Lord.

The example I follow is this: King Saul accussed David of being unclean, a traitor and a liar, yet David, did not touch him. Even with his mouth, he did not speak evil about him. He humbled himself before Saul even though Saul tried to kill him. David with all of HIS faults was called a man after God's own heart, why? Because he stayed humble before God and when he sinned, he quickly repented before GOD.

Please for your soul's sake, don't deceived. Accusations, slanders, reviling and mocking comes only from Satan.

Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 24:23-27; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18). To best guard yourself against falsehood and false teachers - know the truth. To spot a counterfeit, study the real thing. Any believer who is, “rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15), and who makes a careful study of the Bible, can identify false doctrine. For example, a believer who has read the activities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 3:16-17 will immediately question any doctrine that denies the Trinity. Therefore, “step one” is to study the Bible and judge all teaching by what the scripture says.

Jesus said “a tree is known by his fruit” (Matthew 12:33). When looking for “fruit,” here are three specific tests to apply to any teacher to determine the accuracy of his or her teaching:

1) What does this teacher say about Jesus? In Matthew 16:15, Jesus asks, “Whom say ye that I am?” Peter answers, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ substitutionary death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. First John 2:22 says, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

2) Does this teacher preach the gospel? The gospel is defined as the good news concerning Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). As nice as they sound, the statements “God loves you,” “God wants us to feed the hungry,” and “God wants you to be wealthy” are NOT the complete message of the gospel. As Paul warns in Galatians 1:7, “There be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” No one, not even a great preacher, has the right to change the message that God gave us. “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:9).

3) Does this teacher exhibit character qualities that glorify the Lord? Speaking of false teachers, Jude 11 says, “They have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.” In other words, a false teacher can be known by his pride (Cain’s rejection of God’s plan), greed (Balaam’s prophesying for money), and rebellion (Korah’s promotion of himself over Moses).

For further study, review those books of the Bible that were written specifically to combat false teaching within the church: Galatians, 2 Peter, 2 John, and Jude. It is often difficult to spot a false teacher / false prophet. That is what a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” is all about. Satan and his demons masquerade as “angels of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his ministers masquerade as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:15). Only by being thoroughly familiar with the truth will we be able to recognize a counterfeit.

I do not know where you got your sermon from but I know that there are wolves out there and they are in the midst of the christian folks who truly want salvation...they come in to your churches, home, schools, ect...acting to be your friend. They show love and kindness but they do not speak the truth...beware my friends because the enemy for those who believe in God the devil wants to come and rob, steal and kill you..First he takes your spirituality away by impressing you with things of the world then he comes and take your finance and health the next thing is death...not only in the natural death but the spiritual death....beware of false doctrine..read the word of God for yourself..study to show thyself approved..

Yes I am fully aware, as any Christian should be. THe remnant of God are those that love Him enough to keep His commandment, that love Him and OBEY. IT is a command, not merely a suggestion, and by the power of the Holy SPirit, we can do it. Saying NO to sin and Yes to Jesus. By the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we were given this Holy Spirit who will annoint us with new revelation and make the Bible come alive. HE guides us and shows us the way in all things. Up to us to hear and obey, once again.
Wolves in sheeps clothing, yes. and its not accident. The devil will send ppl claiming to believe that dont into a church to conquer and divide from within, causing chaos, division with lies and whatever else they need to do the devils work. PPL that make you question the Bible, God, your own faith, and cause terrible problems at church and outside the church. Also there are those that claim to believe and think they do, but they wont obey God at all. Those ppl are also in confusion because of the devil and his lies and they can cause such trouble in church too as they teach their false bleieves that grace covers all continued, willful, deliberate sin. REmember the Bible says GOD FORBID to that attitude.
Yes, we need grace, but it is not to continue to sin. WE are called to overcome sin, thru obedience, just as Jesus did with the Father.
By the way the preachers you mentioned have such truth. I listen to them all the time. We are supporters of the Daystar ministry , as it takes the gospel of Jesus to the jews now, just as God asks us to do. Bring the gospel to Jews, it is how we support Israel, and that too is a command.
There are preachers that will ask for money, its kool. How else do they stay on tv, or radio, or even woring full time ministry at church withsome another income? Its ok, we are to take care of our leaders, our pastors like that. But there are false ppl in ministry too, that do only want your money. You can tell them by their fruits, AcTIONS, as you can with anyone else, not just the leaders, but all ppl.
Listen to their words, do they speak Bible truths, or do they veer from it.???? God gives discernment, if we ask.
Bless you for the question...

You are aright right and right again. Its so sad that in many churches Pastors have become like the Pharisees and Saducees of old... being a sort of high priest to those that are not worthy to come to Christ for themselves. But seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.... When you seek after Him He will reveal himself to you by the Holy Spirit, and the HS will lead you and guide you to the knowledge of the truth. I won't nor can I say who is what, but I know that Christ said that one day people will stand before him and will proclaim all that they have done in His name... and he will profess that he doesn't know them.... he wasn't talking about people that don't know him. He was talking about "Christians," prophets, pastors, evangelists, deacons, lay people...

Last note... if Christ came to be an example for us, and he thought it necessary to abase himself to those that he served (His Disciples, the ones he taught, novel concept) why aren't people following that example and why are they so puffed up with arrogance? Christ washed their feet which was a sign...

But hey... who am I?
