This means people speak French for their daily lives.
They do learn English at schools so they know how to speak English with sexy French accent. lol
Of course, there are some English speakers(Anglophones) in Quebec, but they are minorities.

Most people speak both languages in Montreal. Apart from that most people only speak French. But you should get no problems having a clerk serve you in English anywhere, but saying everyone is bilingual is far from true. If you ask, everyone is "fluent" in English, but most of these fluent English speakers would not be able to watch a movie in English. But to travel and communicate basic stuff, there is nothing to wonder about.
