I don't think that that will be the day that Christ returns, but it is funny how the events that coincide with the earth being thrown out of its normal rotation can be found in the 8th & 9th chapters of Revelation. I think that by 2012, Jesus would have gathered the Body already and those left here will be in the midst of the tribulation.

nicely, the Bible does not provide a date, yet Jesus does say to observe for the signs and warning signs. as far as a results of fact the calculations and the dates and such, i might consider you, i'm slightly skeptical approximately this prediction. i think of you're suitable to take all of this with a grain of salt. i assume be attentive to the possiblity, yet interior the top, i think of that's far extra significant that we attempt to be sturdy Christians whether Christ is drawing near Dec. 21, 2012 or not.

Where have you been all this time ? Haven't you heard , Christ was executed two thousand years ago ? His returning days are long past .
The Myans knew as much about the future as anybody , ZERO . They couldn't keep their calendar going forever , so they stopped it . What's the difference what day or year they thought was far enough in the future ? They knew that as that time approached , it would be easy to to continue .

Keep in mind that for the Mayans as a cohesive and powerful culture, the calendar already ended a LONG time ago, so I wouldn't put too much store into that date.
Jesus himself said that "no one knows the day or hour," so you can trust that no one knows.
I am not worrying about it.

Not being a Mayan, I can't represent them.
I can tell you what the Bible says.
The term "end of the world" has been greatly mis-understood, partly due to Christendom wishing to instill fear in its followers.
The Apostle Peter made a comparison with the flood.
Please note, at the flood, the planet did not cease existing.
In fact, one's that God deemed 'righteous' survived.
So, it is with the "end of the world."
It is simply the end of wicked mankind .....according to God's definition.
The planet stays, there will be survivors ,,,to fulfill the promise at Psalm 37:29.

What a load of bull! Everyone needs to stop focusing on the world ending and enjoy life while it's happening. This crap about god coming and saving the people who have been baptized is a bunch of bologney. If the world ends it will end and no one will be able to predict it or stop it.
