Now that the wedding/reception is done and over with, I have 10 disposable cameras... some of them are pretty much full so I will go ahead and get those developed, but the ones that just have a few pictures on them, should I use regularly until it is more full? I know when you get cameras developed they charge you per picture, so I know it would be cheaper to get 5 pictures developed rather than 25, but if Im only getting 5 pictures out of the camera, was it a waste of money on the camera?
What would you do? Finish filling the cameras? Or get them developed now?
For the record, my digital camera broke a couple months back, so I always use disposable cameras (until I can get another digital)... I usually have one in my purse with me...
Thanks!

Its up to you on what to do. They won't charge you for the film not taken, so it'll be cheaper in the long run.
IF I had a camera that had a few shots on it, I might use up the rest of the film by taking pictures of the presents that I unwrapped after the wedding/honeymoon. I would want to get the camera film developed ASAP so I can get some of those pictures out with the thank you cards. My plan is to include at least one picture in each thank you card of the couple/person or table they were sitting at.

I say fill it up why waste the film or the money plus you will not have to worry about not having a camera during those times when you wish you had one but don't. So keep it that way no money is wasted and yeha it is cheaper to get five developed instead of 25 but sooner or later you would need to buy another camera and get that developed and sense you all ready pictures left on a camera oyu would be saving that money and not wasting the money all ready spent on the cameras you all ready bought

I would try to use them up but quickly. IF you get to a point 2 months from now and you still have five half full cameras I would develop. Don't forget that while the cameras are for you, a lot of family and friends will expect you to send them copies of good photos. IT's not always fair but it's just the way it is!

You are not going to save any money as the price for developing refers to the number of frames on a reel of film. I.e. 24 exposure may cost less then 36, but anything in between 0-24 will be the same price. Anyway use the camera until it is empty because you are going to pay the same price anyway, they are going to have to develop the whole roll.

Our daughter kept using the cameras until each of them was full. It took over a year. As each one was developed, she had more great pictures of the reception. They loved it. (Leave room for the pictures in one of the albums.)

It makes more sense to use the cameras and film then to waste it developing just a couple of photos. Go ahead and use them.

I think it would be a waste if you don't use all the pictures up. I think you should continue to fill them up with all kinds of things that you two do around the house like be silly or catch each other sleeping or doing odd things. Take pics of the kids, pets and other family members too.

Use them until they fill up. Then a few months from now when you get the pictures back you'll have a few shots from your wedding in there, which will be a nice surprise.

I say definitely use them unless you are extremely eager to get your pics back. As for price, the most they'll do is take off 10 cents a picture for what isn't developed. Moneywise, it's better to use them up!
