Just a little SELF introspection, don't go into other people or groups. Whatever affiliation, be it religous, cultural, national, or whatever group you identify with (or are identified with by others), what stereotypes about that group (sect, religion, whatever) are actually true.
I'll start:
I'm White, and I really am a terrible dancer.
As an atheist, I really do think I've got a more accurate understanding of the world than most (certainly not all) theists.
I'm an American, and for most of my life, I really was over weight. (Down 40 pounds, and feelin' good!)
As a punk who 'rejected society' I did conform to a certain standard of dress and behavior (albeit a different one), and DID have a mohawk and go to protests.
C'mon R&S, be honest. You'll feel better.

A little MORE honest than I was thinking, but if that's how you feel, I suppose that does fall in the parameters of my question, so I won't report you for that.

Death from above:
Really got a bee in your bonet this morning don't you? This was meant as a little light hearted SELF introspection for some of the R&S community to look at their own Dogmas. Thanks for bringing insults into it, you've really helped the discussion.

I'm female. I do have mood swings, though I try not to let them affect others. I also really don't like competitive sports, other than martial arts. I like froofy, girlie drinks too.
I'm Pagan, and I do like being naked. (Though not in front of others, for the most part.) And I like mead and drum circles. And I took electives in Environmental Science because I'm a tree hugging, dirt worshipper.
I'm an office drone, and I know my work is pointless. I'm over educated and underpaid, and honestly unmotivated.
Edit: Rach, any time. :-D

Ok lets see. Like you I am white and CANNOT DANCE lol. no matter how much my hispanic and african-american friends try to help me with the issue lol. As a "punk" I do reject authority, used to protest, and dress to the "punk" style (my hair was green at one point). As an American I am slightly overweight (hope to fix that soon lol). As an only child I was a spoiled brat (I have really come to appreciate everything I have so I am not the brat anymore just spoiled). I have been called a "know-it-all" because I typically debate on topics (though I dont know if that falls in any specific stereotype). As a male I definately do love sex and am always wanting it. Also as a male I tend to drive too fast and get speeding tickets lol.

The first thing that came to mind when I read the title was that women talk a lot. But I don't see it as a negative. The stereotype that men don't talk much is also true I would say. I really can't think of any right now.

As a blonde I can be completly ditzy. I'm book smart as hell but sometimes something doesn't make the right connections or something and I ask the STUPIDEST questions.
As a girl I am an awful gossip at times (SO working on that) and have the worst possible addiction to shoes.
As Heathen, I am hard headed, passionate, and have no issue speaking my mind to point of hurtful bluntness at times
As a rebelious teenager I was total emo. Well they call it emo now. I was emo when emo wasn't cool. LOL
edit: Oh, oh I want to go Taew and Rach! Shhhh don't tell the other Heathens but I love wine and appletinis. I'm so board for the girly drinks. Hehe

I'm white and old so I'm still a little down on minorities getting all the breaks; I drive slowly and carefully; and, I can take my teeth out of my mouth to brush them... I can't hear as well as I use to, but most of what's being said is tripe and nonsense anyhow.
I'm atheist and I ..K N O W... I've got the inside track on how very foolish god-belief is.
I'm an American but I'm not rich or ugly or over weight and I'm also not a nationalist, however, don't mess with me because I still have a big stick, I'm still strong as hell and quick and I know that my way is a better way than yours so at least listen to what I have to say..
I'm a well educated retired professional and I'm very critical of ignorance and of believing anything when no proof is available. Question everything and read all the fine print, tables and graphs.

As a woman, I tend to be a little over-emotional.
As a mother, I never have time to do anything for myself.
I can't say I'm a normal wife though...sex life's still good.
As a freak...well that would be an unending list, lol. Also, I could possibly get myself into trouble if I mentioned certain things. Suffice to say, the only things I don't do are drink, smoke, or drugs.
As a Wiccan, I'm definitely a tree-hugger. I love sky-clad. I wear my pentagram proudly. Most of the things I purchase are either dark green or black. My house is littered with candles and fantasy ceramics and my yard is an overgrown garden.

Sometimes I will do or say something that is so stereotypically "woman" that I want to kick myself. I'll be the first to admit that I can be really jealous in relationships. I hate that.
Oh, and as a Michigander I'm deluded to think the Lions are a great team. :)
As far as religious stereotypes go, I really try to avoid the negative ones associated with Christianity such as ignorance, hatred, bigotry, etc. I do, however, believe in faith and the power of prayer, so I guess those are stereotypes I meet.
EDIT: Oh, and I meet pretty much all the stereotypes for liberal neo-hippie college students. I eat natural foods, shop at thrift stores, boycott big businesses, and go to war protests. Peace and love, man, peace and love.

I'm gay and I hate sports. (Other than that, though, I'm really not your typical gay. Except I work out every day...lol.)
I'm an atheist, and I'm generally a cynical kind of guy, although I don't take myself that seriously. But I love destructive criticism. I'm also somewhat of a hedonist, and yet very "spiritual," although my cynical side hates that term for its connotations and wishes there was a more scientifically accurate word for it.
I'm American, but practically nothing about me is typically American. I'm a bit of an expatriot. I was never overweight, I can find Iraq on a map, and don't even try to talk to me about baseball...lol.
I'm white, but I can dance, but that might be the gay influence, except I hate gay house music. I actually listen to a LOT of hip hop but also traditional white boy rock.
This is kind of a weird question for me because I've always enjoyed breaking the mold, and I have a real appreciation for contradiction. "In conclusion, Libya is a land of contrasts."

Okay, well.. being white, I think I do consider myself more priviledged sometimes.
Being spiritual but not necessary religious I am sitting on the fence to avoid uncomfortable conversations or fears (lol).
I'm American, and I do feel like my country rocks the world's A S S.
I guess I'd consider myself middle class, but I think I'm probably stereotypically "preppy," though NOT snobby. I wouldn't say I'm 100% a label whore but..

I am a 21 y/o Catholic Canadian. I spend most, if not all my time alone. I do not smoke, drink or do drugs which is what separates me from most people my age, I also do not chase girls either. I am an artist, i wear typically black clothes and spend all my time drawing or writing. I weight lift everyday too, i have a weight system in my basement, and i hate watching sports, i like playing soccer though (in regards to JonJons answer, i am not gay). I am very proper, kind, caring and very compassionate. I eat healthy, i can cook and dance. I've been broke my whole life (and my family), i've had to work to get anything i've wanted, which hasnt been much.
In response to you're claiming you have a better perspective than (most) theists, i beg to differ, because i have worked many, many different jobs, from kitchens/bakerys to construction/landscaping to industrial factories and what i have come across is that no one really has any idea what to think, everyone claims to say they know the world better than everyone else but none of them have proven anything in that respects and as far as i'm concerned "knowing" the world doesn't mean anything, because what you know would conflict with someone else's opinions, infact, everyone elses opinion, there isn't a single person out there who would agree with everything you say, so you claiming anything means nothing to no one.
Personally, i probably have a better idea what the world is about than you and most people that i have met/known and worked with over the years because i come from a very rugged and broken down circumstance, i had no father and my mother was very neglectful and abusive to me, i have suffered my whole life and i am still struggling (like many artists). I have been a victim to many forms of abuse and harassment from most people i have known and being through many different jobs and schools (colleges) and meeting many many many people (in this past year alone i have met upwards to 1000+ people and in the past 3-4 years it has been significantly more), i have a very wide variety of different types, groups, personalities and mentalities that i have been exposed to. All of which have proven to be the exact-same-way. Everyone, no matter how different and better than the rest they claim to be, always turns out to be the same as everyone else.
As far as i'm concerned, from pure observation (and i have studied sociology/psychology) people are lost. Even the ones who assume they have it together and like to "prove" that they are a hot shot, haven't the slightest idea of what reality is, because they have spent their lives acting or behaving like someone else, or they just hide behind all these awesome "claims" that they project on others and they become those claims, when in fact, they are nothing of the sort. It are those who admit to knowing nothing, to accept their fate, and who have faith that something better is waiting for them are the ones who are truly in touch with reality because knowing nothing is better than knowing it all, and knowing the difference between what is important (like love/compassion) and what is pointless (scientific facts). Everyone else create their own realities for themselves and there is no one to say whether they are correct or not, so people blindly follow their own set of personal beliefs not knowing if they are truly the correct ones in which case they haven't the slightest idea of what the world or reality is all about except for what they made for themselves.
