NO!!!
My Mom can not cook a thing
I started cooking for the family at age 8 and have been cooking ever since.
I have now been married for 20 years and usually hold all the family holidays because mom can't cook.
My children love grandma but won't eat at her house unless it is something like sandwiches that they can make themselves.
My Mother is hopeless in the kitchen

NO! MY mother was a really bad cook. My dad would cook on the weekends, she worked on the weekends. There were many times when i wouldn't eat at all. My dad is a great cook and I learned to cook by watching him. My kids love my cooking. They are all grown now, but they still call and ask what I'm fixing for supper.

It actully is most of time. But sometimes when it isn't that good and i start nagging about it , If i went away I really miss her cooking , Even if our mom's cooking was the worst , It'll always be the best for us.

Most of the time it is. Grand mothers are very good too. Being I am a mother and grand mother, my sons think things like homemade bread and pancakes are fanastic. It's our little tricks and now how that make some dishes oh so perfect.Cooking rice on the stove top and not using a rice cooker is always big with them, they haven't yet learned the secret to that.

Unfortunately, no. Don't get me wrong, but mom's food was just bland. Both my grandmas were awesome cooks though! And my dad cooked great breakfasts on Sundays. And my adult kids and their kids love my cooking, so maybe it just skipped a generation??

lol Definitely not. My mother in law, and my own grandmother are terrible cooks. My mom is a good cook, but she's no gourmet. I'm the gourmet in the family so I guess you could say that I'm better.

Of course not. Just because a woman has given birth, doesn't mean she's automatically a good cook.

My mother happens to be a very good cook, but not everything she makes is the 'best' of that dish that I've ever had. ☺

No. I learned to be a good cook on my own. Learned from her mistakes. My husband says mine is the best!
