No. The Jewish faith does not believe in Jesus Christ... who is the foundation of CHRISTianity.

No.

The first Christians were Jewish, as was Jesus. Jesus never renounced Judaism.

It was Paul, some time after the death of Jesus, that developed Christianity and then worked hard to spread the message.

Contrary to what some people say, it is impossible to be both Jewish and Christian. So if someone tells you they are a 'messianic Jew', you will know they are talking rubbish.

Jews do not believe that Jesus was the messiah. It really is as simple as that. No Jew believes this.

'Messianic Jews' do believe this. The very second someone claims to be 'Jewish' yet also to believe in Jesus as son of G-d etc, you know you are not speaking to a Jewish person.

No because Jew's think Jesus was just a prophet and not gods son and they think the messiah is still comming. Chrisitanity has to do with basically believe that Jesus was Gods son and he died on the cross for our sins.
&& Catholics are not anything like Jews because the only thing that makes them different is that they have a higher respect for the Virgin Mary than many other denominations but hey still beleive in Jesus and God

Well Catholicism was the first established Church of Christianity so of course they are Christians, they follow Christ which a Christian is a follower of Christ. Jews are not Christians as Judaism is a religion and is older than Christianity Jesus was Jewish. Also when Christianity first started the early Christians were seen as being part of a Jewish sect so were regarded as Jews at first.

No. Jews are not Christians although some Christians may be descendants of Israel (Jacob).

Catholics belong to a Christian sect; hence they are Christians not part Christians. Jews on the other hand are not.

Catholic is NOT a part of True Christianity, but if they leave the Catholic church behind, they can become Christians.

For the same with Jews, they can become Christian, in fact, they were among the first Christian people to be saved by Faith in Jesus Christ.

Yeah, sure, why not?

They are the jewish christians you hear so much about.

It's easy to tell them from the buddhist christians, the buddhist guys wear a lot of robes in yellow and orange, very distinctive.

And they tend to shave their heads, kinda like catholic monks but the catholics tend to stick with grey, black and brown robes. Probably the buddhist christians attract more the kind of people who like a bit of colour.

Of course, compared with the muslim christians, there's not many jewish and buddhist christians, but with all that missionary work, they're catching up fast!

And just last week I saw a few scientologist christians out my way. You tell them from the others by their blissful expressions ~ oh yeah, and the antennae.

Hehehe, it's a broad church!

Cheers :-)

catholic is not part Christianity, its a path in christian religion like Protestants and Orthodox Christians.
Jews are not Christians. The word Christianity comes from Christ and as you understand since they don;t believe in Jesus Christ as a messiah or a prophet, they are not Christians.

Well, there are several big differences between Judaism and Christianity, probably the biggest one being about Jesus being the son of god and dying for mankind...

You know, the main bit of Christianity...
