Most modern swaps (that are swapped for more powerful engines) will require the engine, ECU, tranny and axles- so that comes as no surprise.your best bet on a Sentra of that vintage is either the SR20DE- found in the SE-R, or the turbo version called the SR20DET. the swap will require what i have listed above but you will have a quick car. However, why don't you just trade it in for a 1999-2000 Sentra SE? for what you will spend on the swap, you could probably buy one of those sentras and they come with the SR20DE engine and I believe a limited slip differential.

If you dont know what engine to put in it then you are not capeable of an engine swap. Anyone who asks questions on yahoo answers is not capeable of an engine swap. But a few engine swaps are. Sr20de then turbo it. Qr25de or a vg35de. A vg30dett wouldnt fit.

Why would you want to put a high performance engine in a little family car like a Sentra? It makes no sense since the car is so light and you will have a hard time keeping control.

Small economy car three body styles old and 12 years old. Wouldn't you look good in a 350Z? Engine swaps rarely go as planned and some times takes months to complete. SR-20 engines also needs wiring harness and ECM and your trans will not bolt up. Axles are not strong enough.
