Go back t where you got them and let them know. They may have got the prescription wrong. They can check to make sure it is correct as can the person who originally wrote the script.

Go back to where you purchased them, being nice ask them to check the prescription. If it is what the Dr ordered go back to the doctor & ask him to do another refraction because you can't see through the glasses that were made from the prescription he gave you. Also have the Dr check out the new glasses. After determining what the problem is (glasses made wrong, or script is wrong) Go back to place that made them explain exactly what is wrong & ask what will be done to fix them.. If the Dr is at fault there might be a slight charge,(they made what was asked for) if the store is at fault there shouldn't be any charge. Please be pleasant and you will get farther with little or no more expense to you. Going in yelling & being hateful doesn't help the situation at all.

When I got my glasses, they told me not to wear them until the next morning after my eyes have been rested from the straining. When I woke up the next morning, I immediately put my glasses on and I could see fine. It didn't take me long to get adjusted, maybe a couple of hours. If you're still having problems after 3 days then you should probably have them check the glasses and recheck your eyes, just in case.

Were you diagnosed with an astigmatism? This can be very difficult to get used to even with a mild case.
If it is mild, you may be able to go with out it. Ask your eye doctor. Many places will remake your glasses for up to 30 days.
Good luck

1. go back to where they made them, have them double check that the lenses are on axis and the rx was ground correctly... also have them double check your other measurements.
2. if everything is spot on w/ your written rx... call your doc. for a recheck.
3, also if you have a slight astigmatism, and also wear contacts, your rxs may be different which could account for the difficulty adjusting to the specs.

If you cannot see correctly the moment you put your glasses on, they have been made incorrectly. Have the GLASSES checked by your doctor, with a lensometer.
