I'm 100% sure there's no god like the one written about in Bible or Qur'an.
That guy was an ego-tripper who was far too up himself to stay away for so long - he woulda sent some one other than Falwell, Robertson, Hinn, Copeland, Dollar, et all - he woulda sent 'down' someone believable with PROOF.
Nah; 'he' doesn't exist.
Many of us know that.
Of course, the less courageous among us - those unwilling to take responsibility for their actions - they are shivering in the fear they might go to hell - they FEAR their 'god'.
Every time I hear a fundie suggest he 'loves' his god I know he means FEAR.
How else would you feel about a critter that loves unconditionally as long as you suck up to him but the moment there's a lapse, for the minutest of reasons, there's a one-way ticket to the hot place where all the best of us are meant to go.
All the wimps are meant to go to heaven.
LOLz

Do you really WISH that there is a God? If you do, where do you think that desire comes from?
No, we don't all "know" that there isn't a God. Some people are of the OPINION that there isn't a God, but...you know what they say about opinions.

I don't KNOW it.
But I'm pretty sure, yes. If gods exist, they are determined to provide no more proof than a vague "personal feeling." And they also have never seen fit to give me one. Ergo, they either don't exist outside their believer's heads or they do and simply don't want me to believe. I'm going with the logical one.

If you were so sure about what you know.
You'd have no need to ask us!

Ironically, most people who profess that there is no God are the very people who cry out "Oh My God" just before the truck hits them......

No, not really.
The truth is we are ALL believers!
It's just that some of us believe sooner than others.
