The car would not start,i suspect its the car battery,so i am trying to open the bonet so that i can check the battery but i cannot.

Hood release cable hooks to a plastic handle on the dash board underside below and foward of the steering wheel. Pull rear ward if the handle is broken pull on the cable with pliers then buy a new cable and handle find out what is binding up the release. If the cable is broken Technicians remove the black plastic shield under the car and with long arms reach up and unbolt the hood latch to open the hood then work with the broken cable.

its under the dash of the driver side
and there is a black button like
you pull toward you and then it should pop open
