Existence is exactly that, existence, all that is. Just as the universe is everything that can be. Does it need to be created? Reason would dictate as such. How was existence or the universe created, I haven't the foggiest idea.

God is eternal... He created the universe and all that is in it and one day, He will destroy it and create a new one. Life had to be created...it's impossible for it to start on it's own from non-living materials.

Simple.

For me at least - it is much easier to believe in an intelligent being who has existed forever with no origin - than it is to believe in time or matter or space existing forever with no origin.

Therefore - atheism simply doesn't make any sense; and is in fact quite illogical.
