Pure heart , Simple mind...:)
The Heart says what you are, and the mind makes smarter choices.
The mind makes choices...:))
there is a proverb:
"If there is a conflict between the heart and the mind
follow what your heart says!" because the heart says what you are!:)

Shall I ask, What is a Smart Choice? The step to the Mind tricking the heart really doesn't involve 'thinking' just deception. If the heart can trick the mind or vice versa, then one can conclude you made a stupid decision that wasn't smart or no wise, wasn't knowledgable. I agree, philosophically that our 'minds' can trick our hearts, bind them so they cannot speak to the other controlling force. The mind is very potent, very subtle and devisive. The mind can take an average law abiding person, and push them to the brink of destruction by suppressing the heart to control her, and trick the person into drinking when that person was once sober -- pacifing the heart to of whom she can no longer weep from the mind. But, the heart in all her sadness is still there, she will talk to the mind with soft words (which does turn away wrath) bidding the mind to listen to her, asking the mind to think out other options , a road less traveled! Can he, the mind, listen? Will the mind be tricked from a lighter, gentler approach of the heart? Will she, the heart, listen when the mind says -- "It's time to go" -- To find out about the conclusion tune in next week, when these 2 diverse mechanisms try battling it out, and see if the mind will reconcile with the heart to make smarter choices, for these 2 desperately need each other to survive and keep the system clean from filth of thoughts and lusts.

This is a hard one, great question enki. HHhhhhmmmmm, well we all know that the ming is where the brain is so in that regard I would have to mind but smarter choices doesn't necessarily mean just using brain power. I do believe when making important choices in life you must look at all factors such as the facts, pro's and con's, even past experiences but also the not so tangible ones such as emotions. sometimes what is right for the heart is not right for the mind and what is right for the mind is not right for the heart and so fourth. I believe it is a matter of combining them all to make a choice that is best suited to the situation and our needs at the time. The heart doesn't trick you but it does leave you open to emotions that can either make you soar or make you fly so low thus opening you to possible hurt, disappointment and sadness. the heart whether we like it or not is connected to our brain and does affect the decisions we make so either way not the mind nor the heart has the title of smarter choice, it is a combination of the two. Unless of course you look at it from a physical point of view but I doubt that seeing that your question also included the second question which we know is impossible from a physical point of view. great question, I got to give you a star for this one. Glad to see your still around my friend asking these questions. take care dear sweet enki. many hugs and kisses and much love friend bye bye.

Everything we think is thought in the brain. So, the 'mind' is just our everyday way of saying the 'brain'. Sometimes when we want to talk about feelings, which are a very special kind of thinking, we talk about the 'heart'. Of course the heart is really only a muscle for pumping blood through the body, but the ancients thought that it was also tied up in some way with our feelings. Since they did not understand physiology, the ancients simply decided that thoughts came from the mind and the heart. To some, the soul is also an imaginary part of our bodies. Certainly, this is true when we talk of an artist having 'soul'. But, in many religions the soul is also a spirit that forms part of a person and will inhabit an afterlife when the body has died. Thank you

The Mind makes the smarter choice. The heart cannot answer the reasons of the mind to choose based on logic.

Interesting question. Have a great day!

Hi,
The mind likes to think it makes the smarter choice. Logical and analytical it will weigh up, consider and analyse and be ever so pleased with its clever decision. The heart makes the more meaningful choice, going with what is deep inside, feelings, emotions and instincts. The heart's choice may not be as smart but it will be the more sincere one.

Some work better with their heart, also called intuition. Others work better with the mind, also called logical thinking.

Those with intuition trust their feelings in choice-making, while those with logical thinking weigh out the advantages and disadvantages of a choice.

So whether the heart or the mind makes smarter choices, it really depends on each individual.

The mind always makes smarter choices. Most people let their heart lead them and they get into situations that hurt them. When you have unease about something you feel about the other person it is usually true but we let our heart overwhelm our mind just to believe. I am so glad that I got to the point in my life where my mind controls my choices, the lessons I learned in the past finally caused that.

The heart and the mind make choices together but if the heart dominates the choices could be catastrophic.

I would always want to involve both at the same time-a strong mind above my shoulder with the heart in my hand. If i have to make smart choice, i would make it sure that i chose that direction for an undisputably good reason accompanied with my understanding heart full of kindness making sure that no one is getting run over while i have decided to pick that certain choice.
