Maybe then, not getting the attention (negative or positive, it matters not to them) the attention seekers will crawl off & let YA return to the debating forum it was meant to be.

EDIT: Karen, heres a copypaste of my reply to you... Wheres the insult? I don't abuse. I find it in very poor taste :

"You presume, WRONGLY, that they are guilty.
Wheres your proof?
How can you speak of justice when you yourself accuse, charge & judge people without proof, all by yourself???

Well said Caesar's Wife!
And James M too!
xx"

Ignoring is absolutely the best policy.

Some of the posts on here have become downright scary in their psychotic content.

People need to remember that this is not real life. You wouldn`t waste your time arguing the toss about nothing in particular with strangers in the street , so why do it here?

Anybody who feels they have been abused is free to block , ignore or report.
Likewise anybody is free to answer the genuine questions whatever their opinion .

But let`s not stoke the fire with more insults.

Yahoo's guidelines:

"What’s the difference between a strong opinion and a violation? Everyone has opinions, and it’s what makes Answers vibrant and fun. However, opinions must be shared in a respectful manner. Do not use slurs to refer to groups of people, do not insult other members, and do not act in a belligerent manner towards others."

--problem is there are people with a specific agenda who are now reporting questions not simply because the question violates guidelines but because the person reporting simply does not like the question. That's wrong on Yahoo's part and will result in a very biased content of "answers" and questions.

Yahoo reality does not equal reality.

Yes well Justme whatever number he is today, he is a BULLY OF FEMALES let alone insults, i have had to lower myself down to his level to be able to pay him back his dues.

And Faith, yes i fully agree, a debating forum it should be, and i imagine other people who have been here a very long time indeed would agree its long over due for the idiots, worse even to depart and leave them alone to properly debate.

There not even men, they know who they are.

Faith: Yes i`ll leave it once he & Shambo leaves certain individuals alone, until then, i`m going to keep coming at them ok.

If you want to have a word with them and get back to me?
Because they aren`t answering me, once they decide to back off my friends, i`ll go back to being at my own level, and go back to the section i like in yahoo answers instead of having to waste my time with these two.

fair enough faith
i have commented on the inconsistency of other peoples answers, and what i perceived to be some base falsehoods
since then i have received vile foul mouthed abuse both on postings and by e-mail
every question i have posted since has received a violation even though no YA guidelines have been broached
one posting insulted me foully for not contacting her directly by e-mail instead of posting my comments as a question, how would i be able to do this when my e-mail is blocked?(see what i mean with regard to inconsistency)
so here's the deal, i have not posted any comments(with the exception of this answer, and this does not name names)for the last seven days, feeling i have made my point. people are entitled to their opinion, and have the right to express it.
if people leave me alone, i will leave them alone
stroke my fur and i purr
rub my fur up the wrong way, i snarl, bite and scratch

You are so right, cause when you respond to insults, especially after you got your own feelings hurt, too, it gets way personal, some people get real obsessive, and I know I tend to be long winded, so if some $#it was said to affect me personally, everybody would know, then you lose perspective, all you wanna talk about is that hurtful insult, you can't move on, you know?... like the time...{sniff}... on YA...{whooo, breathe,girl}...OK, wait a minute, I need a tissue..... {tears, crying}...when that rude person hurt my feelings up in here,{oooh, chile, it hurt so bad.... }, y'all remember, right?....Ha Ha Ha!!!OK sorry, just kidding, but, for real, if we don't keep it lite, its not fun anymore, and, hey, y'all been here, I'm just gettin' started, and I'm havin a BLAST, so please, don't anybody get all SOFT and mess it up for me, OK? Listen to her, pleeeze!!!! She knows what she talkin' about!! YES!!YES!! WE CAN LET 'EM CRAWL OFF!!!!WE GONNA LET IT ROLL OFF!!!...like water off a duck, yeah.....

Very well said Faith I agree 100%, if no-one answered then it would be pointless asking those type of questions again wouldn't it.

No point in blocking as all they do is throw a hissy fit and demand to know why ! (it's quite obvious to me) and then post nasty questions about said poster.

Infantile minds behave in childish ways. They need a shot of maturity - and quickly at that !.

xx

Faith, I'd like to believe that intelligent people would ignore the childish idiots who choose to use this site as a way to vent aggression and abuse towards others that in a face to face world they couldn't due to cowardice.

Yes you can block them if you want to but in order to get no attention every single member of Yahoo Answers must block them.

Here here! Extremely sensible idea but unfortunately I don't think I'm mature enough to do it. I'll try harder from now on though.
