People have said Prince of Persia, Shadow of colossus, and Devil May Cry any more games people would recommend?

Wow, it's hard to find an action game that even compares to God of War, in my opinion. If you haven't played the original God of War, I highly recommend it. It's just as good as GoW2. Also, I like the Devil May Cry games, but stay away from part 2 of the series, it's terrible. Devil May Cry 3 is easily the best. Shadow of the Colossus is a great game, but it's more like 16 epic boss battles than your usual action fare. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance, I just honestly think GoW is hard to top. If you have a PS3, I've heard Heavenly Sword is quite similar to God of War.
EDIT - You may want to give Resident Evil 4 a try. It's more action oriented than the older RE games. It's terrific!

God of War 2 is an awesome game and it's one of my top 3 favorite PS2 games. If you have played the first God of War game and liked it, you will love God of War 2 even more. God of War 2 has a lot of Boss Battles in the game. The first God of War only had 3 Bosses. As a matter of fact, in the first level of the game in GOW2, there is a Boss Battle and each level/stage of the game has Boss Battles and I think that there are about 7 or 8 Bosses in the game. God of War 2 has more Secondary weapons that you can use, has a lot of cool new combos, and new Magic attacks. Also, God of War 2 was a little bit longer than the first God of War to me. God of War 2 recently became a Greatest Hits game title and it's just $19.99 now and it's an awesome deal.
